Our closing was delayed by 11 days, and we weren’t even informed until the day of our original closing. When we finally closed last week, the disorganization continued. I rather not give any stars the experience dealing with this company is very horrible. I would not recommend NVR to anyone, they lack communication and professionalism. I started with the rep at Ryan homes in Westphalia which was not a great experience either. I received an email from a new sales rep, so I think its going to be a better experience but of course I was still dealing with the same loan officer Charles Garner Jr.. That man lacks communication skills with clients, he does not follow up nor does he respond when you message him. I am still waiting on a response, I am the point I will not utilize their service nor recommend anyone else to do the same. First time homebuying should be exciting not annoying and discouraging. This was the worst mortgage experience of my entire life. We had to provide some new form of documentation every single week even though we qualified for our mortgage 3x over. If you are self-employed, do not work with this mortgage company. The seller's credit they offer is not worth the hassle you will go through with this company.

I went to Westphalia Townhomes in Upper Marlboro, MD and was instructed to fill out the mortgage application. I declined because I didn’t want another hard inquiry and I was already dealing with a lender who had programming available to assist with down payment and closing cost. The program I was specifically qualified for and interested in is called the Chinoa Program. I told my Ryan sales person this. SAMANTHA P. from NVR Mortgage, the approved lender of Ryan Homes, called me and told me that SHE DEALS WITH & HAS THE CHINOA PROGRAM. She went on to tell me how she could still use the Chinoa program and I could take advantage of the perks from using NVR. A few days later I called the Chinoa program with additional questions, only to learn that neither NVR, nor Samantha P. are approved lend
