Northland Studios

A couple of months ago, I was looking for a new place to live. The manager of Nortland Studios, Dave, has been very accommodating. I was able to move in when I needed to. And when I discovered that my air conditioning wasn't working properly, it was replaced within a reasonable time period. I have never lived in a studio apartment before, but my first experience, here at Nortland Studios, has been a good one. It has a very open floor plan, which has suited me well. It is located very close to shopping, but also has a quiet feel, with trees throughout the grounds. I would encourage anyone looking for a new home, to give Northland Studios a try. I am glad I did!

Edited 2/6/2026- I did live here for about a year- As you see to the multiple replies “management” (Dave) is very unprofessional. Clearly a liar (stated below in original review) The studios here are disgusting, I’m more than welcome to upload pictures, But looks as other renters have…I wouldn’t ever recommend moving/living here! I wouldn’t recommend living here to anyone! First off, the “district manager” (Dave) for both properties is the definition of lazy. He’s rude, clearly didn’t get any proper schooling to own or run a business, and he constantly makes fake promises—basically, he’s a liar. The properties are in terrible condition—bed bugs, roaches, rodents everywhere. The stairs are unsafe; there’s no support, and you could fall through if the boards are moldy or damaged. He does n

Where do I even start? The studio apartments are absolutely horrific—nasty, unsafe, and the roach problem is out of control. Dave, the so-called “property manager,” is pretty lazy. Don’t expect him to get up and show you any “remodeled” units; he has a poor attitude toward his job and clearly isn’t the right person to be managing anything. He’s also a liar—if it’s not in writing, don’t bother expecting a response or any “maintenance” from him. His maintenance and cleaning staff have no real qualifications, and it shows. My unit was infested with roaches—literally, hundreds crawled under the trim in each unit. It was disgusting! What did Dave do about it? Nothing. Dave needs a new job. He violated multiple laws just speaking with me. Looking at the building, I’m positive there are violations. He never stood up, he was derogatory and disrespectful, and then the unit he was unprofessionally using as an office had rust stains in the tub and stains in and on the toilet. It was disgusting and he was horrible.

This place provides a inhabitable, unsanitary environment with a bad roach infestation, creepy maintenance people, and they charge you extra “late fees”. We had to move out early and pay two rents just to get away from the roaches that crawled on you while you slept, or while you cooked. When we would come check on the apartment they took the fridge that was in our unit for some other unit and left a pile of roaches for us to clean up. We had times we would come and the door was left wide open and our ac was taken apart, our wifi box was stolen. They never took care of any maintenance that needed done, never sprayed for the roach infestation and are hardly in the office. If I could rate in the negative I would.
