Update, Jan. 2026: All continues to go well for me here. Neighbors in the building petsat my cat for me while I traveled to visit family during Thanksgiving and Christmas, and tonight, one of those neighbors offered me a bowl of homemade chicken soup after noticing that I’d had a long day at my new job. I’m really happy I found my unit, it gets great sunlight. My cat and I are very happy here. Original review: I moved into a 1-bedroom apartment at Montrose Manor at the end of July 2025. It's been almost a month living here now and I am so happy that I made this decision. [No joke, while writing this review, a neighbor knocked at my door to give me some watermelon. While house hunting from out of state, I was so glad to discover Montrose Manor offers flexible month-to-month leases and a prime, convenient location—ideal for my temporary needs. The apartment was immaculate on move-in day. Despite minor outlet and bulb issues, the maintenance team—shoutout to Frank and Josimar—fixed everything quickly and professionally. My space is quiet and cozy, with friendly neighbors and adorable dogs that brighten my day (no excessive barking here!). The complex is spotless, from interior entries to the grounds. Even though I won't be here long-term, it's been a great place to stay while I continue house hunting. Montrose Manor is a nice, quiet community in a great Catonsville location. I have lived here for almost a year and it's been a positive experience. My apartment is spacious and quiet. Maintenance has been very fast to respond to calls when I have had an issue. The leasing staff is friendly and very helpful. They use email to communcate and the residnet portal is easy to use. It’s a comfortable place to live with convenient access to shops, trails, and major routes.

I went through a major life change in March 2023 divorcing my husband of 29 years. I came home to Catonsville for the support of my family. I immediately was able to rent a two bedroom two bath first floor unit days after I came back. It was unheard of to have that quick of availability. I have been here ever since along with my almost 16 year old dog. I had to have a rental that would accept Cooper and having the first floor unit is a life saver for an older dog not great at doing steps anymore. It’s a quiet community that fits with my new lifestyle. There are not a lot rentals available in the Catonsville area. I feel very fortunate to have been able to rent here.
