I started my search for a home on Zillow, months before I was actually ready to buy… When I was ready, Zillow connected me to my agent Maura Lacoboni… she was amazing every step of my process! Now I work a lot and I don’t have any days off work, the only day I was able to get off during this process was the one day to close on my new home, everything else Maura walked me through or did herself FOR ME. She was kind, informative, and extremely helpful, not to mention accommodating to my crazy schedule (I don’t get off work until 7:30pm so that’s usually when our communication started for the day, aside from texts.) I had a disappointing experience with Mr. Jang. While he was very responsive and maintained consistent communication, the quality of his responses and the level of advocacy he provided were severely lacking. From the start, he strongly pushed a lender affiliated with his real estate company, and when I mentioned shopping around for better rates, he sent a rude and discouraging message. He also repeatedly framed the seller’s actions as though they were doing me a favor rather than fulfilling contractual obligations. He recommended an inspection company that missed multiple issues—none of them glaringly obvious but definitely things that should have been caught, like a chipped tub, improperly caulked flooring, and a back fence that had been screwed shut. We had a great experience working with Wes and his team! My husband and I were new to Maryland and ready to move out of our tiny apartment. Wes showed us around several different areas as well as worked around our hectic work schedules.
