This place has been super nice and clean since we moved in. Quiet, nice people that keep to themselves, and good maintenance - up until recently. Without notice, they shut down the app we used to pay rent. Which isn’t a huge deal, except we were across the country and had to scramble to figure out how to get a check there in time. On 12/30/24, I cut my toe open on a low quality piece of metal carpet edge. I immediately sent an email to Kay, explaining that I had hurt myself on it and that it’s a hazard having a little one around. I didn’t get a response, so I called on 1/3/25 to submit a maintenance request. It’s now 1/9/25, and my husband has sliced the bottom of his foot open since it has not been fixed. I’m not sure what is happening with the management of this place, but I hope it gets

These guys are absolutely on top of things!! Kay and the maintenance crew are absolutely awesome. They are so quick to respond to any maintenance issues they are so easy to work with; you can tell that they put their customers first!! I truly appreciate these guys for making my home comfortable and making my experience with them as awesome and as easy as possible!!

I found a great place to rent, within my budget, a yard for my dogs, and easy access to main roads, to any part of town I wish to get to.

The homes look beautiful, but appearances can be deceiving. If you rent one in New Rockford, be prepared to run a dehumidifier year-round to prevent mold or ice buildup on glass doors. Cracking your windows during freezing temperatures seems to be expected, and maintenance is not responsive. Don’t rely on Carol—she won’t help unless you contact Ruby directly, and even then, I went an entire year with collapsed kitchen shelves. If they have someone plow your driveway, keep an eye on them—they may hit your garage, and you’ll be responsible for the repairs. Very nice looking for trailers especially when you are supposed to own it. The whole thing with the managers and whomever really runs the whole establishment of Meadowlark Homes/Builders/Oakland Community Properties and Holiday Village and how they do business with tenants and rent payments and communication and evictions for you not knowing you're over and under paying for the past tenants and you still have to move out and not be able to renew or still have your housing voucher from MHA especially if it is supposed to last for 5 years and the money to follow the person that you are supposed to be cleared for COVID and eviction memorandum from the government to prevent the whole spread of diseases and COVID-19 to still not be explained correctly what happened and why not, especially when
