Matthews Square Apartments

I’ve lived here for about 5-6months. We got new management around a month after I moved in. So far I love this community. The girls in the office (Caitlyn, Kayley, and Celeste) are amazing! Any issue or concern that someone has and their on top of it right away. I also have 2 dogs and they love going to the dog park here at the community. It’s nice to be able to take them and let them run around. They also have a dog spa which is amazing since my dogs are goldendoodles. They also have monthly events where the residents get to do cool activities, it’s a fun way to meet other fellow residents. Like today for example we had a painting with a twist kind of event and they provide you with everything. Honestly love this community.

I’ve been living at Matthews Square for about 2.5 months and I’m a pretty detail-oriented person, so I don’t say this lightly: I’m happy here so far. If anything changes, I’ll update this review but right now, it’s been great. Here’s the full story. Back in September, I started searching for a place for my family because we were relocating to the Charlotte area. I learned that South Charlotte is generally considered safer, so I focused there but still wanted to be close enough to the city. That led me to Matthews. I narrowed it down to a few communities, had a friend tour them in person, and I ultimately chose Matthews Square. There were a couple of small details to work through at first, but everything was resolved. I signed my lease in September and moved in October. My move happened

Great place to live! I just moved in and I'm highly satisfied so far. The leasing office has been amazing: Kayley, Siggy, Caitlyn and Celeste were all friendly, professional, and super helpful throughout the process. After moving in, I had a few maintenance items, and Rey and Shariff took care of everything quickly and efficiently. They were responsive, courteous, and clearly took pride in their work. Overall, the move-in experience has been smooth and positive, and I'm really happy to call this place home. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful place that warmly welcomed our family last year. It’s peaceful, safe, and beautiful. Unfortunately, like in any community, some residents treat the space with respect, while others do not. It’s disappointing to see negative reviews because the complex has great potential. Issues like pet waste left around despite available bags, trash not taken to the compactor, or children damaging flower beds and shared property are not the management’s fault. We are responsible adults living together — everyone needs to follow common rules for the good of the community.

Nice floor plans, amazing amenities. Ciggy is the best! She gave us an amazing tour and went through the floor plans very thoroughly, and made sure we picked the best place for us. It was almost impossible to turn away from an application after our visit. Really looking forward to being a resident!
