Marlborough House

I've lived at Marlborough House for many years & it has served me well. The apartments are quaint, but well-kept and comfortable. The staff is courteous and cares about the quality of your stay at MH. Maintenance staff is also very prompt and do their best to take care of your concerns. The metro is just a short walk away, which makes this property super convenient for commuting downtown. I love my little apartment, and I'd definitely recommend this community.

I lived here 12yrs ago for 1 year in a 2 bds 2 bathroom. Modern design, spacious, all utilities included, gated community with security and very quiet. I never had any maintenance issues or problems with the leasing office. Visitor parking was free with a visitor pass. I didn’t renew for reasons unrelated to my experience. Now in the present day I was seeking a 1 bedroom. The Assistant Manager James sent me an email of a 1 bedroom available for $1409. When I get to the open house, I was told by another manager that James was being a lil too ambitious because that apartment isn’t currently ready but she could check with the maintenance team and see if it can be ready by the end of the month. She stated that she’d call me back the same day and update me but I never got a call back that day

Marlborough House Review I received a warm and professional welcome upon arrival. The leasing office was clean and well-presented, creating a positive first impression. The surrounding property, including the pool and gym, was noticeably clean and well-maintained. I also observed staff actively working on the grounds, which reflects good ongoing maintenance. Jamal, the Assistant Property Manager, was flexible and demonstrated excellent communication throughout the process. Overall, the experience so far has been excellent. I plan to provide updated reviews as a new tenant to reflect continued experiences.

I’m trying to understand why the leasing office and the property manager are MORE focused on who the lease holder is other then addressing the on going issue with this hvac unit, soft ceilings, mold on furniture. The temperature does not go below 75, yet they are making us feel that we are able for this soft. I need to relocated immediately until this is resolved. This is ridiculous!!! A mold specialist will be hired TODAY!! Also why did the service manager ONLY take certain pictures and NONE of the black mold.

Good location but no matter how clean you keep your apartment it is rodent infested. I can’t keep food in my kitchen cabinets due to all of the roaches. I have been on the exterminator list multiple times but nothing is working. The apartment appliances are dated and the paint keeps peeling on the bathroom walls. The building stairwells always have dog pee in them so watch your step and the elevator is always broken. Water smells like sewer more often than none so I have to run my water before using and the hot water takes a while to change from cold daily. Office staff is nice but the apartments are not worth the money.
