Madison Gardens

I’m sharing this review so future residents have an honest understanding of what daily living here has been like. For several months, multiple exterior and hallway lights along the back row of the property have been out. At night, the walkways and stairwells become extremely dark, making it difficult — and honestly unsafe — to leave early in the morning or return home after sunset. Navigating stairs without proper lighting is a serious safety concern that should be addressed promptly. Cleanliness around the grounds has also been an ongoing issue. Dog waste is frequently left on sidewalks and in common walking areas. Pet policies do not appear to be consistently enforced, and residents often have to carefully watch where they step just to enter or leave the building. Additionally, when t

There are mice in the walls and you will hear them running around and trying to gnaw into your place. The water used to be piping hot, now you don't even need to turn the cold tap on. EVERYTHING LEAKS. Washers and dryers are dealer's choice cause it's something wrong with all of them and someone may or may not steal some or all of your clothes. Cars broken into. Walls are so thin you can hear both sides of a conversation on speaker phone. Stolen packages. Insects everywhere at any time. Rusted vents that haven't had their filters changed ever. Heat that doesn't work and is either too hot or nonexistent. The list goes on. Only plus is most of the people that live here are nice.

I have rented from multiple apartment complexes, however I must say Madison Gardens has been one of the best experiences I have had in renting an apartment. The property manager Tanisha is very nice and professional, it really shows that she truly cares about the community and her residents, which is very rare when dealing with a property managers. The leasing consultant Ledis is also a pleasure to work with; she made sure she went the extra mile to ensure our happiness as a resident in the community. My daughter and I really feel at home here compared to our previous rental. I am also very pleased with Maintenance, our Maintenance, guy Miguel Andrews responded to an emergency call within 1 hour w/ a smile and eager to solve the issue, he assured us that our complaints would be handled. I do not recommend this apartment complex. The new management sucks and ignore their tenants. Tenants are paying for a service. However, management takes their sweet time to solve problems.

I have been a resident here for 7 years. I was surprised when the property was sold last year but I have nothing but good things to say about the new management. I do feel like the exchange of power could have been more informative for residents but they’re working hard to get things moving in a great direction. Side note, maintenance Elliott and Santos the porter are extremely helpful and polite!
