Market Street Lofts

Okay- the apartments are attractive. The appliances are very nice. The wood floors are good too. However- it’s an old building and there will be issues — electrical- plumbing with old buildings. That’s just the fact of the matter. Fuses- three and four fuses blowing at the same time is concerning to me. I do not overload- in fact I do not even have a television. I do not b plug in multiple electrical devices such as juicer and air purifier- and the fuses blow or switch on and off. I unplug all small gadgets when leaving the space. My new oral toothbrush is not working after the series of fuses blew last week. I think it’s overload but it is not for me to report to an authority. Plus- there are not operable windows- and the windows I have are overlooking an area —that is not not open to fre

Apartments can be tricky. I stayed at MSL for about 3 years before deciding to move out, and in that time, I witnessed some of the ups and downs of this place. Originally, I started in an upstairs "loft" before moving to Unit 157 which I was looking forward to until the day the roof began leaking profusely. I have to commend the office staff at the time because the addressed the situation quickly and consistently. Market Streets Lofts can be a very convenient place to live with several local coffee shops nearby, the public library across the street, and Old Towne Petersburg right down the street too. Its very living here except for the neighbors. Not all but most. A lot of then are young and students. They are loud, rude and treat the property and the library parking lot like their personal trash dump. Definitely wont be here long because of that. Other than that, its a very nice place and very convenient to downtown,.the library, bus station, local government and restaurants

Love it! Lived here for a year. The property staff are the best. The amenities are great, especially the pool! The only negative was locals coming on site using our pool but that problem was fixed. The staff always make sure renters’ complaints are addressed. Another beautiful amenity is the trash fairies that take the trash from outside your door to the dump. Great for working individuals.

Market St Lofts has definitely been a positive living experience. Stephanie & Irene in the office are always so friendly and able to answer any questions you may have. The location of Market St Lofts is great, it feels secure since you need special access to get into the building. The walls are a bit thin so noise can travel very easily. Outside of that I would recommend staying at Market St Lofts. The staff is friendly, onsite pool & gym are nice amenities and the apartments are kept up to date! ❤️
