Marina Heights

This place isn’t low income. They’re low customer service. Hard to get a hold of them and then when you try to talk about your results, they can’t talk to you. They have to email you. What happened to people helping other people out instead this place wants to just keep people on the streets. This is pretty sad that they call themselves a low income apartment when you still have to make two times the amount of Rent. I would not rent from here. They are not into helping People. I even went there on a Saturday when they were supposed to be open and was told that they decided to take the day off so if you have any kind of dings on your credit don’t apply they won’t help you.

This is a wonderful place to live based on the rent and location as compared to other apartments around the area. You do not pay for water and garbage which saves you some money. It is also just a minute walking distance to the marina, in fact, you can even see activities at the marina from your apartment. It also have good amenities to keep you busy, a basket ball court, a big swimming pool and a gym to work out. In addition, the rooms are very large and spacious as compared to other apartments. Perfect place for your kids to play outside. My kids love it here. Parking is not a problem if you have an extra car because they a large extra lot for residents and their visitors. Lived here a year and still waiting on repairs from when I first moved in. The apartment was dirty and they gave me a rusty old oven that the rust would fall on my food. When I call to have it fixed they brush me aside and never get done. I am beyond furious. Because an empty apartment takes priority over tenants repair requests. Moving once my lease is up.

EDIT: Called again and someone else answered the phone named Damarius he understood my frustrations and he said he was willing to email me recent photos and videos of the property! At least he was helpful unlike the first lady me and my husband spoke to(: Doesn’t do any apartment tours!!! They want you to apply for something that you have no idea what it looks like. Tells me I can look online at the photos. PLEASE! Photos could be old and I could have no idea what I’m really moving into. Asked why they don’t do apartment tours since that’s very sketchy she said cause of covid. Almost everyone is vaccinated now and covid isn’t a huge thing anymore and people can wear masks. I have lived at Marina Heights for 7 years and have a studio which has been perfect. The grounds here are lush and they are dog friendly which is a plus. The office staff has always been very attentive to my needs and any requests I’ve had. I actually really enjoy living here and my place has become a home. You can’t beat the location for its directly across the street from the delta so if you like to cast a line out every now and then you would love it. Also BART is now right up the street so if your healthy you could walk to Bart in about 20 min. Or the bus stops right in front There are several activities that the City puts on close by, directly across the street durning the summer there’s First Friday’s which is music at the Marina’s lawn with a live band so bring tour chairs or bla
