House is fine so far after moving in 2 months ago. Neighborhood so far is great too and very family oriented however tonight I realized someone burned a firepit in the neighborhood and my entire home smells like a campfire now or more like a dirty fireplace that filled a home with smoke even though we have no fireplace. Firepits need to be banned sadly because that is really what this is. Worried this smell is here permanently or at least for a while. Going to check the attic tomorrow since I put blankets under the doors and it did nothing so thinking the attic is poorly insulated which I asked to check on my walk thru and was told I couldn’t because if I was injured it could be a liability for them. Disappointed tonight for sure

In terms of the neighborhood and home experience, I have no negative thoughts and I am grateful for the first time home buyer experience. The reason for my rating comes from the treatment I've endured from the team inside the Magma Ranch Vista clubhouse center. As a resident here who pays for services and entry to the pool, gym, etc. I was denied access for not having my physical fob. Although Cathy whom works in the office center has the resources to confirm my contributions and residence in the community, she denied me and my child access. A family invited me and my child in as a guest in which I turned down out of the decency of informing the office women that i had forgotten my fob. Honestly surprised at some of these reviews, so here is my experience. Preston was a great. Very knowledge about the houses and the land that they are built on. The loan officers were very attentive and quick to respond to our questions and give us the best advice possible on the home buying experience. When it came time for the walk thru Jim was our guy. Jim is a very good boss and helps fill in for his employees. We were very thorough. Jim told us what to look for during the walk thru and took pride in the quality of the house. Double pan windows, 101 class on stucco, housing supports, and backyard suggestions. Jim went out of his way to make sure he might out expectations. This whole process was completed under 1 month. Overpriced. The quality of these homes is no different than the neighboring communities. Commute to jobs is worse, materials are the same low quality softwood and plaster as all other new homes here, and the parks are the same as other neighborhoods who charge much less for HOA. If you buy here you are paying for a brand, not quality. It seems these people realize homes are in high demand and they want to get every penny they can out of their product. By the way, ask people who live in lennar communities in Gilbert; They definitely have problems hiring competent builders and engineers to build these homes.
