JS Homes at Mount Friendship

They boast about beautiful homes and customer service. I call bull! 6 years old paid for upgraded cabinets and have several broken due to low quality installation. I could go on for pages about the low quality garbage that we have had to replace and or fix already but the icing on the cake is roof! Yes 6 years and already in need of a new roof! Not only did they use the cheapest singles the installation was horrific. Say what you will but I dont know too many people that climb up on their roof and inspect installation and quality of work. We took for granted a company charging upwards of 400k/house would take some pride and ownership of good construction and eventually return customers, stupid me! Stay Away from JS Homes We have officially been living in this house for one month, and the overall craftsmanship and workmanship are unacceptable. The drywall and ceilings throughout the home are extremely poor. The spackling and finishing look amateur at best. The ceilings in particular are horrible and now must be completely redone, requiring me to stay home and miss work because the job was not done correctly the first time. The plumbing is outdated and poorly designed. Every morning I wait exactly two minutes and thirty-seven seconds for hot water to reach my bathroom. JS Homes chose to run a single ¾-inch main line throughout the house instead of using modern plumbing manifolds. This is how homes were plumbed in the 1970s. During the process e everything was great. However after a year in the house things started going left. I understand a new house settle and things will happen, however to try and get service sucks. After continuous calls and emails i was able to get someone out here to start patch up work. They started snd never came back. My drive way had a giant dent and have started to come away from the house. This been happening literally after the first year. I’ve called several times, sent several emails and got now answer. 2 other houses in my development had the same issue. My neighbor said he had to keep calling and staying on them to come out and fix his driveway. It’s kind of ridiculous. I’ve called the warranty department and they told me i had to call the builders. Unfortunately my experience has been similar to some of my new neighbors. Water leak in basement, Crack concrete in basement floor which they said is normal. Drain pipe that is not clearing water away from home. Now as of 5/3/24 I have water leaking from the first floor ceiling. I have been blessed to own 2 other newly constructed homes and experienced none of these problems. Mt Friendship is advertised as LUXURY HOMES. Where is the LUXURY when all the neighbors I have met have had issues from craftsmanship. To the foundation. Those selling JS Homes in the model homes will never mention the problems current owners have experienced because they love money more than giving potential buyers informative information.

Here is my response to JS homes concerning their reply back to my wife about being happy with your work. The only reason why I was happy is because you finally came to finish the work that we waited to be completed 6 months ago. Overall, we are not happy with how this whole process is going. We still have problems that need to be addressed from when we purchased this home. The foundation/Crack concrete on my basement is getting bigger every month and all the numerous other problems. We all need to have a seat down and get this process over with and done. We are tired of dealing with you all as you are with us. Don't ever say that I was happy or satisfied with your work.
