I would give zero starts if that was an option. The fact that we are now forced to have spectrum internet as our internet provider is insane. The price at 50 dollars a month regardless if you take the internet or not is just corporate greed at its finest. The kick back highmark is getting off this just shows what this company is really about, and it is not their residents. It’s their pockets. All about finding ways to make the rich richer and will continue to find ways to take from people like us. Anyone who is looking to rent from a property who is managed by Highmark I would look around. There are better options out there and options that don’t force you to pay for something you do not want or need.

Changing from 2 to 1 stars because they are now forcing us to buy internet through them. They’ve changed everyone’s lease through the utility clause that has allowed them to charge an extra $50 a month to for internet even if you choose to use your own provider. Essentially they’ve got a contract with Spectrum that incentivizes them to make all residents to use their exclusive Racquet Club contract (which intuition tells me will continue to climb in price as time passes). Absolutely abhorrent. The changing of the acceptable forms of payment so that all cards are charged a fee that aren’t BILT cards is appalling. Tacking on fees to encourage people to get your credit card to pay their rent with is ridiculous. Such a shameful policy switch and consistent with the times. I feel like you guys

ROACH INFESTATION + CORPORATE DISHONESTY This is my experience with Hickory Point Apartments & Highmark Residential. The office staff (Desirae, Natalie, Leigh Ann) were professional, but corporate regional manager Angie Logsdon lied to me and delayed my refund, causing major financial distress. I signed a lease 6/7/25 after checking for bugs — saw none. Returned the next day to document the unit and found roaches. Left sticky traps overnight; by morning they were FULL. Immediately spoke to the office, was met with “corporate won’t want us to transfer you without trying to fix the problem first”. My logic for fixing the problem, means letting me sign to a different unit to avoid moving me INTO an infestation. It wasn’t till I requested cancellation before they last minute potentially had

I have lived in the Davie, FL. property going on 2 years now, I have loved being here. All staff are great, attentive and respond in a timely professional manner. I do however get up very early for school and would like to use the gym. Its unfair to the people who use the gym equipment responsibily that have to be punished with this time lock of specific hours. Please can we have the gym open 24hrs. I not only would benefit but, the gym going community would also. Surprisingly it is a very busy gym for just being in a small community every time I go it is busy. I would also like to use the sauna in the locker rooms, the whole time I have lived here they have been occupied for storage because the yoga room has been cleared for use. Many gym goers would also benefit from the sauna for a bet

Won't take care of a roach infestation and ignore emails. finally got an email response when I reached out about fraudulent charges on added to my rent. When I followed up they had blocked my email. I emailed every contact I could find but they all had me blocked.
