We have had multiple transactions (buying and selling) our properties with Gavin Hollingsworth. Gavin is incredibly professional, efficient, and knows the area well. We had a wonderful experience finding our new home last year. Gavin really hung in there with us, especially with a crazy market with buyers giving multiple offers on homes. Gavin also helped us with selling our previous home and he did a great job with this transaction. This was not an easy sell as the buyers were trying to sell their home in Florida. We ended up renting our home to the buyers until their house sold. Gavin took care of all of the rental aspects, which was a great relief to us. I have negotiated several property purchases and leases through Gavin Hollingsworth at Hall Associates. All my properties are 100% leased thanks to his help, and at very competitive rates, but also fair to the tenants. I have worked with other commercial real estate companies in the past, but after working with Gavin, I have no intentions of working with anyone else! He is very hard-working, always available, offers great market insight and advice, but never is pushy. Give him a call and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

The worst property managing company I've ever dealt with. I reported a roof leak over two months ago and it has not been fixed. They won't even respond to email anymore. My ceiling is being damaged and mold is developing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

We currently rent a property from Hall Associates (we are 6 months in), and we are thinking about breaking our lease, and moving elsewhere. They tout that they have maintenance people, however they do not follow through with their promises. I have been waiting well over a month for my mini dishwasher to be fixed, and for my fridge to be fixed. They recently sent a bill for 127 dollars, absent explanation of the charges, stating that I needed to pay it to avoid legal action (I am payed up on my dues). Currently, because they have not made an attempt to hold up their end of the lease, which includes maintenance. My neighbors are great, and I like being in a quiet area, however these things alone are not worth the 645 I am paying per month... Honestly, if I would have known the kind of nightm

Two Words- SLUM LORD. As a 3 year disatisfied customer of Hall Associates Inc, it is my opinion that the Roanoke, Va office has very little concern for their tenants! It has been my experience that Lynn Hall did not return our phone calls for many days, and showed little to no concern for my family when we got sick due to contaminated water from the well. In my case, I felt like once we signed the lease they were done dealing with us! In short, you might want to do yourself a huge favor and avoid them like the plague.
