Gulfstream at Dania Beach Apartments

Been here three years. Within the three they have had four different slumlords. They break the contract in the middle of the contract every year and raise the rent. They haven’t had any reliable maintenance as they have had many come in throughout the years…no one maintenance at the moment. They don’t fix anything. The place is deeply infested with roaches and they want you to pay out of pocket to bomb the home. I went 7 months w/o AC while pregnant and they had no care in the world to fix the situation at all. They ignore your calls and if you don’t pay your rent that is due on the 3rd of each month they running to the courts to file papers for eviction adding 550 + extra dollars for you to pay on top of late fee and rent as if You can’t be late at times making payments! Come if you wish

Do not go to this place and do application they will scam you out of an application fee with no intention on ever calling you or updating you about The status of that application they're just taking advantage of people looking for places and taking their money as they come through the door they are scamming you at this place I don't even know what the inside apartments look like but if you're getting scammed as soon as you walk in through the door before you even live here

I moved into Gulfstream in July 2013. My overall experience has been great. Maintenance always comes to assist within 24 hours. I've never had any major issues with bugs and my neighbors aren't loud/noisy. My issue with Gulfstream began this year 2017 when the leasing Manager charged me $337.00 for a plumbing bill. She said I caused in the apartment beneath mines. I felt that she was being very nasty about the situation and also served me a 7 day notice if I did comply. I did not want my son and I to be evicted so, I paid it. Apparently she became very upset that I questioned the bill, her lack of notification of the issue for 3 weeks and that I contacted the district manager (whom never contacted me back). So in May I received a letter on my door stating she was not allowing me to renew

Roaches everywhere literally New guy that works in leasing office entering your apartment without your consent or permission. Constant issue with appliances We need Silvana back in office she had everything up to par and organized It’s just a hot mess at this point

Over the last 2 years the community's appearance, management interaction and its overall landscape has improved to where residents can expect to be safe, and provided with outstanding services.
