General Greene Village Apartment Homes

My family and I have lived at this complex for about 8yrs now. We love it! Management is helpful and maintenance goes above and beyond to help when needed. Benny, Greg and Steve are friendly, reliable and very knowledgeable of the grounds. I had a situation on Sunday with my sink and dryer. First this Monday morning they were at my apartment ready to work. Within a couple of hours everything was done and working including the extra things I asked them to look into. Thank you General Green for making us feel at home!

I have lived in General Greene Village for 3 years now. I absolutely Love it here. I have the nicest neighbors in the world. I have never had any issues with bugs, or any type of rodents. The apartments are extremely clean and well kept. The maintenance staff does a phenomenal job keeping the property clean year round, even with all the snow we had this winter all the walkways were shoveled immediately and they put down salt. They really go above and beyond to make their residents happy. They are also pet friendly which is rare in an apartment complex, they even have a dog park for the dogs to run around in. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone that is looking for a great place to live.

Everything is run down and poorly maintained. Don't live here unless you need to. Tiny old apartments with creaky old floors, no soundproofing, and your rent -will- go up by 5% every year simply because they can without improving anything. Resident of 5 years and finally leaving but the timing of our new home means we can leave a month before the lease ends however management refuses to change policy so we need to pay for a month of not living here. They are rude unless they're trying to get you to sign a lease. Property managements only goal is to spend as little money as possible so repairs are the quality of your friend from down the street who worked for his contractor uncle for a week. Poorly trained annoying dogs everywhere. Bad owners not cleaning up after them almost as much. A

Big thank you to management especially Brenda, Steve & Benny today for being so friendly and professional! Mid-year inspections started this week and they were able to answer all our questions. They did their job in a timely manner. They even took a few minutes to ask my husband Jose and myself (Ana) if we had any concerns or needed anything. Again thank you for making us feel at home and cared for.

I'm a single dad with 2 kids and a Bulldogge. A safe neighborhood and good schools are high priorities for my family. My home is located centrally where my apartment door is unlocked and my kids walk to and from home and everywhere else (school, library, friend's houses, etc). Springfield Public Schools and classrooms are small and intimate where everyone knows one another. The community is inclusive and friendly and protective. I'd recommend these homes to everyone from single professionals to couples and families with children
