This has been by far the worst management and move-in I've experienced. I genuinely tried to give the benefit of the doubt.. but the build-up of issues has been ridiculous. Jessica forgot about our scheduled tours. The day I went to sign my lease and get my keys, I went from their office to my apartment and my keys didn't even work. But I got offered a spray tan from Jessica which I guess is also done at the office? When I called about the key, the copy of the keys to my unit took half an hour to find at their office. I still only have one key, a month after moving in. Once getting into my unit with Jessica, I discovered my unit had not been cleaned by the property management prior to my moving in. I had to clean the mold off of my toilet so I could use it over the weekend of moving. It

Kim is AMAZING! She worked with us for over a year helping us find the place we now call home and also helped our family make the transition from North Dakota to Missouri. Kim is very knowledgeable and knows both sides of the river. She took care of us the whole way from start to closing and checked in on us after the long move. I would recommend Kim to anyone and will go to her for future property purchases. Thanks Kim!

My family and I rented from first city for the past 18 months while we were building. What was supposed to be a 6-8 month downsize while we leased turned into an 18 month stay and Jessica was very helpful. Before moving in we had a lot of (high maintenance) requests, like asking for a garage door opener/key pad for our kid getting off the bus, new privacy blinds, and Jessica was able to make sure the property had everything we needed. We only had a couple maintenance needs while leasing and they came to fix it in a jiffy. Since using first city, I’ve referred my own staff to scope their site for rentals. Very competitive rental pricing, especially in the Piper area, as two neighboring rental houses near ours were vacant for long periods of time because of astronomical prices! It’s insane!

We rented a house for 1 year from them. While tenants, things went well. They responded to text and calls promptly and also fixed any maintenance issues in a timely manner. However, we moved out in early June and haven't been able to contact them since. We haven't gotten our security deposit back nor notice of any issues that would have caused us to lose the deposit. We've called, texted, and emailed multiple times without an answer. At this point, I'm exploring legal options to recover our deposit.

Stay was great for the two years my husband and I were there but I recently moved out and no one is returning my calls about my security deposit. I’ve left voicemails, I’ve called almost every hour on the hour and I get no response. I know the deposit takes 30 days (I’m well aware of the time frame and have all the paperwork) it has been over 30 days. You guys didn’t hesitate to take my money when it was due or needed so I’m not understanding what’s the hold up on the deposit coming back. I’m very frustrated especially since I can’t get ahold of anyone. I tried calling Jessica but I’m not sure if her number changed because when I call the phone just hangs right up.
