HOA rules seem to change to make sure they are responsible for less, but prices keep going up. My poor neighbor complained about our shared neighbors fence falling into her yard. She informed me they told her to get a contractor and fix it herself. If I ever try to resell my house, who will want to move in next to a neighbor that allows their property to degrade, and a HOA that won't do anything about it?

Although is is confirming to see so many other negative reviews, it is equally disappointing because I think as homeowners we all just want a company that works well. DNI has extremely poor communication, lack of due process, and unreasonable enforcement practices. If Robin is your property manager she is very unresponsive, only communicates annually at the beginning of the year. If you have any questions for her she just stops responding. I personally have worked in real estate for over 20 years and would never provide that kind of customer service. Our experience with DNI Properties has been consistently frustrating and unprofessional. Over a multi-year period, the management company repeatedly failed to facilitate basic due process required under our HOA’s governing documents. Archit

The Jones Co. built our house and we moved in at the Manors at Tapawingo in 2003. They appointed DNI Properties to be the management company over our subdivision/HOA. We pay yearly dues to them (now about $1100 per year and has been increasing every year). One of their responsibilities that we pay them for is to keep the common ground/retention areas (not prairie grass or conservation area) maintained and cut in accordance with the subdivision’s indentures and the city of Sunset Hills and St. Louis County’s ordinances. Loyett is the lawn service they use. DNI (Loyett) maintained and cut the entire area (the right side of front entrance on Pagada Parkway) twice per year from 2003-2022 using mower and weed eater. Most of my neighbors and I were pleased with DNI when they took over more than 10 years ago. My opinion, and that of most of my neighbors, has changed greatly. Our community manager, Robyn, Thomas, does not listen to anybody and we get no help from corporate in getting a new manager.

I would avoid using DNI at all costs, they refuse to communicate and ignore repeated requests from residents. Our board members try consistently to get answers and it’s just crickets from DNI. I’m unsure what we are paying for or why our dues have risen because they have refused to do street repairs, our common areas are consistently overgrown, and our pool hours have been drastically reduced because they refused to find a reputable company to work with. They don’t even have excuses they just simply refuse to communicate.
