If you decide to lease here, do NOT sign anything binding until you see the exact unit you are renting! I was told the apartment I leased would be "renovated/updated". If the apartment I leased is renovated/updated, I am sincerely worried about what the units that aren't "updated" look like! It was glaringly obvious that the apartment was not cleaned or fully checked over by maintenance prior to my move in date. There were bugs and debris all over the entry way, trash under the stairs and on the patio, there is paint chipping on almost every surface, the vinyl flooring is torn and water damaged, the caulking in the bathrooms looks like it has never been replaced, there are so many water stains and nail pops on the ceilings that I have lost count, bugs constantly find their way in, the kit

If you’re thinking about moving to Waterfront Crossing, do yourself a favor and don’t. The management here is the worst part of the entire experience, and that’s saying something. When I moved out, they tried charging me for repairs done before I even lived in the unit. Yes — things they already fixed long before I got the keys somehow became my responsibility. They also admitted they had zero move-in documentation for my unit, but still tried to force charges through anyway. As soon as I asked for proof, invoices, dates, anything real, the tone shifted to: “Come into the office so we don’t have to put anything in writing.” That tells you everything you need to know. I also got billed for cleaning a storage closet that was never cleaned before I moved in — but apparently that was my fa

Thought I came across a good deal with a great rental rate and close to work but thank God I did a short term lease. I have put in 4 work orders just for my tub alone and I have only been here almost 30 days. Oh it’s still not fixed. Went to the office about it and was told to come shower in the clubhouse because they don’t know when it will be fixed. Water is leaking in my dining room and basement. My apartment smells like mildew. There are numerous other things that have yet to be addressed. DONT MOVE HERE unless you can put money into repairs on your own.

I lived at Waterfront Crossing for over two years. Based on my personal experience, while this complex has certain advantages, the recurring and unresolved problems I faced ultimately outweighed those positives. Positives from my perspective: 1. The location is very convenient—right in the heart of Creve Coeur, within a 20–30 minute drive to key areas like St. Charles, Manchester, and downtown St. Louis, and under 5 minutes from major stores and restaurants. 2. Rent can be lower than many nearby apartments. While one-bedroom units in the area often exceed $1,200, a studio here (when available) may start around $800, which is relatively affordable for the location. 3. Amenities such as a laundry room (though it was out of service after a fire during my stay), a 24-hour gym, and a pool are

I do not recommend Waterfront Crossing Apartments. The front office staff is consistently unfriendly and dismissive, and communication is a constant struggle. After moving out, they kept my full deposit to replace the carpet — even though it only showed normal wear and tear after five years of living there. On top of that, they tried to charge me extra for carpet replacement (which is their responsibility) and threatened to send the balance to collections if I didn’t pay. When I tried to dispute it, someone even sent a threatening email. The whole experience was unprofessional, hostile, and honestly traumatizing. I even tried reaching out to corporate, but they just sent the dispute back to waterfront. I’ve lived in several apartments, and I’ve never encountered such rudeness or lack of ac
