Diablo Oaks Apartments

I lived here years ago when I was a child, I have so many fond memories of this place. My grandmother was the manager and my grandfather was a maintenance man, it's quiet, a great neighborhood to grow a family, easy access to shopping and transportation as well as having the iron horse trail that runs along side the complex. The people who work there, who I hope still work there, are amazing and hard working. There was also a wide range of culture running through those streets which isnalways appreciated. There used to be large beautiful trees that grew through the area as well, I'm sad to see most of them are gone now. It's unfortunate but nevertheless, a wonderful place to consider living.

We have lived here a little over two years and find the rent fair for this area. Easy walk to Bart. Fairly safe area, though that will probably change with the low income housing going to be built between here and Bart station. Apartment complex kept clean and tidy, Pools nice and hardly anyone uses it. Lots of trees and parking is o.k.. Manager is nice and grounds staff are efficient and pleasant.The few problems we have had were taken care of quickly. The apartments are older but not too bad (We have upper one bedroom.) Only problem we have had was a nasty woman who liked to party all night every night, but eventually she was evicted. Have a woman below us who chain smokes and we can't seem to get her to stop, but all and all it's not too bad a place to live for a while and after 6 month

Nice apartment to live. When i am planning to move here, i saw lots of negative reviews all over the internet. But the community was quiet, safe and the staff was friendly. For the issues, management and staff will react so quick, you never imagine this in other apartments. Closest Trail and 5 min walk to BART. walking distance to BestBuy, buybuy baby and Kohls. Surely worth giving the 5*. Coming to cons, the apartments are bit old, who cares?

It used to be very nice. They had cut majority of the trees inside the apt complex. It's very hot. Avoid apt's which dont have Tree shade. Hard to live inside the apartment, especially with Covid. Other than this major minus, service people are attentive. Medium budget apartment, if all you care is no frills apartment.

Go ahead and look at the apartment, the front door should be unlocked? This is what I was told, I find that to be very unsettling. Shouldn't one that works there take you on a tour to show you the apartment? Yes, they should, hopefully they don't have unlocked apartments anymore.
