Dakota at Deer Park

We been living here for a year now, and every time we decide to enjoy any of the amenities they are always dirty, dusty or broken the stairs are always full of spiders webs or trash…. The back dog trail fence has been broken for a long time now we submitted a service request nothing has been done. Also since the new management team started working here I noticed they are not enforcing the clean up rules for pets. People take their dogs out by parking lot where the gravel is they leave the poop there so if you are getting out of your car and don’t see it you will step on it .

Dakota Apartments are honestly an awesome place to live. The overall vibe is really welcoming, and it feels like a community rather than just an apartment complex. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always willing to answer questions or help out whenever something comes up. The neighbors are great too, which makes living here even better and more comfortable. On top of that, the managers truly care about the residents and consistently work hard to make sure everything runs smoothly. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making Dakota a place people actually enjoy calling home.

Living at the Dakota was miserable. My apartment was right off pasadena blvd side. I didnt have a goodnight sleep for a solid year. After half way through my lease I asked out of my lease to move to a more quiet apartment. I was told to pay 2 months rent up front 60 day notice and a $2000 re letting fee. Thats 10k just to move apartments with 6 months left on a lease. Aside from the terrible parking situation where they charge to assign parking the ant infested pool at the end of the day they keep your deposit and have a 3rd party company charge you "cleaning fees" every 2 weeks for the next 4 months. I would highly recommend you look else where. Ive lived and currently live in river oaks and I have never experieinced a more money hungry theiving management group to run an apartment comple

Dakota at Deer Park has been a great place to live. The community is clean, quiet, and well taken care of. The staff is friendly and helpful, and maintenance is quick whenever something comes up. The location is convenient and the apartments are nice and comfortable. Overall, a really solid place to live and I’d definitely recommend it.
