As a Realtor®, I’ve had the pleasure of helping clients both buy and sell homes in Cresswind at Twin Lakes in Hoschton, GA over the past several years, and I can confidently say this is one of the top 55+ communities in the area. The clubhouse is fantastic, the pickleball courts are always full of energy, and residents rave about the lifestyle. The community itself is attractive, but their Welcome Center and their staff are FAR from welcoming. My realtor and I were there three different times WITH pre-arranged appointments each time. I was absolutely APPALLED by the rudeness and condescending manner in which we were treated! The female new home consultant was extremely condescending and acted as though she had no interest in showing us model homes and the community offerings. She basically pointed us to the model home area and sent us on our way. She said she would catch up with us, but never did. When we returned to the sales/welcome center from self-viewing the models, we had numerous questions although she seemed totally disinterested in helping us. Additionally, she told us to stop by the club house on our way out. No offer

Disneyland for Adults — after successfully developing more than 10 Cresswind communities, the team here really has the building process, event programming, and customer experience refined. Stopped by the pickle ball courts, which were packed on a Saturday, saw the clubhouse, and the design center. If you’re looking for a truly customized retirement home in an active community it’s definitely worth a visit.

The sales person was very nice, but houses are way over priced and all the add-ons are very over priced. I live in a 55 over in Cumming "Orchards" . It is well worth the money and the taxes are great. The taxes in Jackson County are ridiculous.
