Civic Center East Apartments

I had a bad black mold problem in my unit. They did little to no remediations. After complaining months for the fourth time that I was still getting sick every time I would come home they finally told me they have done everything that they could do. They only told me that because they didn’t physically see any mold anymore. I asked them could they run an air quality test they told me it wasn’t necessary after Kennedy and her boss Ashley lied about cleaning my air ducks, and my HVAC system. I also asked could I move to a new unit and was told no. I ended up having to move with family because I was getting so ill and had to pay rent for 4 months and utilities. The best apartment complex in Southaven! The staff is very friendly, professional, and will go above and beyond to help you feel at home. You can tell that this isn't just a job to them. They are a part of the community and truly do care for the residents and the complex. Maintenance is very prompt to respond to any issues, no matter how small they may seem. And issues can easily be reported by using the application. This is a huge benefit to renting and living in an apartment. The complex is gated and very safe. There is also a courtesy officer living at the complex. It is quite peaceful here. The best feature of this complex, in my opinion, is the landscaping. These apartments used to be soooo nice ! Now they have people moving over here with roaches. I’ve lived here twice and never seen a roach the first few times. I also moved back 2 years ago and never seen a roach until a few weeks ago, then I started seeing baby roaches. They came and sprayed my apartment with pest control but for some reason now I am seeing huge roaches. I’ve had them come out multiple times to spray but it seems to get worse. I’m not sure if it’s my neighbors across or beside me . They both have their belongings just sitting outside in the breezeway. It’s super stressful because I’ve never in my life lived with roaches. And these aren’t small roaches these roaches are HUGE. I really wish they’d do something because I’m sick of this honestly !!!

Go west. West is great! But no east!!!It's terrible. They have very different services even in the same apartment There are rats and the service is not that good The key they gave us when we first moved in was a different key. I have loved living at Civic Center East. The staff has always been helpful and quick to respond to issues I have had as well as fixing maintenance issues within a day or 2 of putting in the issue, it is a nice quiet place to live with quick access to so many places!! 20/10 recommend!!
