Cherry City Crossing

I lived in these units for roughly 2.5 years and during that time, we must have gone through 6 property management groups. The people who own Cherry City Crossing are not the same people that currently manage the property: Atlas Management. During the tenure of previous property management groups, many issues fell through the cracks, such as landscaping, garbage, emptying dog waste receptacles, but Atlas Management did a great job staying on top of the day to day operations. Their online portal is easy to use and they are great at responding to emails, concerns, or maintenance requests. The only downside is the neighbors, they made our unit very difficult to live in. I like to give a fair, but very honest review if I'm going to do one. I just moved into Cherry City Crossing, and other than being a tad stringent on the security deposit of a full month's rent, with good credit and no other warranting factor than less than 6mo at this current job I will say that the whole process from tour to move-in has been as smooth as one could hope for, and Courtney was very helpful. The apartments themselves are quite nice, with quality appliances, a bit more than average noise from Cherry ave/ River rd most of the day/evening (to ne expected by location). If I could change one design, I really do wish they had thought to put awnings over the balconies, and placement. Update 3: New residents have moved in over the past couple of months and this place is becoming trashy very quickly. Loud music blasting throughout the day, neighborhood kids kicking/pounding on random doors and playing in the parking lot, and homeless people in and out of the complex or walking down the street screaming for hours. Update 2: Someone stole our bike from our private patio that was chained to the building & hidden from view. This leads us to believe that someone’s been scoping out the complex and knew to bring supplies to get our bike not only disconnected from the building, but to lift it out of our walled patio. You can’t see our apartment from the street, so someone’s been walking through our complex OR a neighbor stole it (highly doubtful, our neighbors seem peaceful). A

This is outrageous and unstandardized property management in my several years being tenant in apartment in different states. You need intelligent, people with social skills, and have at least minimum knowledge to understand the management to be assigned as manager to the property. Regardless who am I, this is the stupidest management I have seen in my life. You don’t take responsibility to manage without having skilled staff who knows what management he/she is taking when making reckless decisions on someone’s deposited money. There is no world where for no reason someone dire to deduct huge money from someone’s deposit made upon move-in. I don’t think you are in good shape to take a management responsibility. I lived at a Cherry City Crossing property for one year. Life got much better once they took over from the previous management company. Requests were promptly addressed!! If I ever need to go back to living the apartment life, this is where I’ll go!
