Verda Crossing Apartments

Your backyard is literally a park. Having Clagett Creek Park as your view from the back of Verda Crossing is amazing. The kitchens have beautiful quartz countertops, durable LVT flooring throughout, and in-unit washer and dryer — no more hauling laundry down the hall. Closet space is generous, and several units come with private decks overlooking the park. Imagine morning coffee with that view. The park is super clean, safe, and has a huge open field for sports, a play area for kids, and a small creek that runs along the entire back of the property. Even better — you do not have to cross a SINGLE road to get there. The park extends the WHOLE length of the property with access from either side. There are 2 dog park areas, one fully fenced, so your pup has a safe space to run. The community

It is currently 12:28am, my boyfriend came home from work & there was absolutely no parking whatsoever I had to get up to take him to drop off his car somewhere else and bring him home because they don’t allow overnight parking on the street or else we’ll get towed. We can’t ever have family or visitors over either because of the parking. It is really annoying and upsetting to come home from a long day at work and there’s never parking. If I would have known that the parking was this bad I would’ve never moved in or chose these apartments. If you only have one car you would be fine to live here but if you have 2 or more cars I would not recommend living here at all. Theresa, Courtney, Daisy, and Stan have all been accommodating and wonderful helping this southern travel nurse have a smooth transition to Salem, OR. The communication has been impeccable, the apartment is nice, great location, and the maintenance around the apartment complex is pristine.

The build is new, which comes with good and bad. The floors are simple vinyl peel and stick, brad nails were used to fasten the kitchen together, and water pressure (for me) was mostly low, occasionally decent - overall it's a pretty place with views of the creek and park - when not under construction, it's a great way to wake up and have a coffee. Top floor units have no window coverings on the vaulted ceiling windows, so west facing units - prepare for a bigger AC bill. I'm not sure why the office never checked out my move-in note about HS Gas in the water system, but I was able to work around that to some degree. Living here has been such a great experience, and a big part of that is thanks to Sloan, the property manager. She goes above and beyond to make sure residents feel taken care of. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed something addressed, she’s been professional, quick to respond, and incredibly kind. You can tell she truly cares about the community and works hard to keep everything running smoothly. Sloan makes living here stress-free and enjoyable, and I couldn’t ask for a better property manager. Highly recommend this place!
