Cambridge at Towne Center by Rockhaven Homes

The community is awful, people treat this community as if it were an apartment complex, parking along the street to where it is difficult to get back to your house, even the school bus can not get to the residents home because of all the cars parked on the street. Over 4th of July the police were called because of people setting of fireworks that caused a fire in one of the yards which led to the fire trucks not being able to get to the fire. I have contacted the owner of Rockhaven and nothing has changed when I raised my concerns about this community. This townhouse was built very cheaply. I know that there is no sound proofing in that I can hear my neighbor snoring when getting ready in the morning. Think three times before moving in here. Homes are overpriced for the lack of amenities and the appearance of the neighborhood. Cars are parked all along the streets, making it look like an undesirable neighborhood. Future HOA dues is not worth the price; it will increase to over $1,400. HOA company pays bills late and incur late fees consistently even after the builder donated an extremely large amount of funds to the account. There is always trash blowing around the yards. Builder reps talk a good game, but nothing has improved in managing style from a year ago. Plenty of houses are out of compliance making our community look of lesser value on top of that.

First home and honest review think before moving here unless you like paying an outrageous amount in HOA fees, is going up 130% from last year! Yes I typed that correctly, 130%! and the one overseeing the things needing to be done doesn’t do anything! Opened pool late, pool filter broke took forever to fix. The grass barely gets cut(HOA covers), land scrap terrible, people speed through, and much more. Things need to change before you move here! I have changed my rating only because the HOA did lower the rates. Thank you! I do enjoy the neighborhood.

Serious Mismanagement of HOA Funds Our community is full of great neighbors, but unfortunately, the management company hired by the builder is failing us. After reviewing the financials, I discovered multiple invoices paid with our HOA funds that had nothing to do with our subdivision—including expenses for the builder’s sales office (phone, internet, and cleaning services) and even invoices for an entirely different out-of-state subdivision. This blatant lack of oversight and financial mismanagement is unacceptable. As a result, our HOA fees have skyrocketed 130%, and homeowners are being forced to cover costs that should have never been our responsibility. Horrible buying experience. Fed lies to buy the home by the sellers realtor Trina. They basically force you to use their mediocre lenders or pay $40k down to use your own. HOA is horribly mismanaged by complete jerks who dont give a darn about the community. Rockhaven has no clue what they are doing, nor do they care. I am actually only writing this review because the only thing they do care about is how they are perceived in the beginning by others to sell more homes. I have reached out to Rockhaven probably 100 times at least and no one has expressed any concern to me. Quite frustrating actually.
