Bumgardner Association Management

God Awful customer experience. Staff is never available. When they are there, extremely rude. Be glad to have moved to get away from them.

I'm very frustrated with this management company. My 82-year-old mom pays high association fees but there are no amenities, and both Bumgardner and the insurance company they deal with (Watson Insurance) makes it impossible to find out what they are responsible for in a fire or disaster. Do your research and when choosing a home... avoid HOAs all together if you can. If not, do not purchase a property managed by Bumgartner. I will likely petition the residents to make a change.

Have worked with this company in an HOA Board Member capacity for almost 3 years. I have found them very responsive, helpful, and fun to work with. It sounds like some of the reviewers get mixed up what this company handles and what their HOA should handle. I can only express my satisfaction, due to that being what I have experienced.

As a member of a small NC HOA and as an officer in the same association, I have met with, talked with, and enjoyed the guidance and support of the Bumgardner team for over fifteen years. Overall, I have been pleased with their work and support. Like any group, their time is limited and good communications is a two way street. When we as HOA members or HOA Boards are lax in what we provide Bumgardner and in what we ask of them, their job is more difficult and the results might be less than everyone wants. I have found them willing to customize the services they provide to fit the needs and desires of our association; for example, providing less onsite monitoring because the Board preferred that approach. We have been residents of the Southpoint Ridge community for over 12 years. We are strong proponents of HOA's after leaving a neighborhood that went south very quickly after moving in. Since moving here, we have found the HOA to be easy to work with and quick to action when we reported a problem. Shannon at Bumgardner has been my go to, and I have NEVER had a problem with getting a quick response. We are not neighbors without fault, so we have received warning letters about our trailer being outside and cars parked in front of our home (they were our neighbors cars) as an example, but with correction, things have always worked out.
