Brooks Ranch - Blackburn Homes

Me and my wife looked all over the Kyle and Buda area for are forever home. We thought we found it with Blackburn Homes. Sales debarment was great. Had a lot of issues during the construction process which lead to over a year build. The builder not wanting to step up and just own the mistakes made it very difficult to agree on somethings. Now after 6 months of living in the house. We are reporting warranty issues and again getting kick backs. You would think that if your spending over $750,000 on a house it would be great quality. Well with this company that's not the case. If your still looking for a home I would look somewhere else. Blackburn should be in the demolitions business not building homes business. I can provide pictures if anyone wants to see.

Poor quality builder and will use every trick to fix major warranty claim. I spent $5000 to fix poor construction quality!

We are super pleased with our home purchase. Darren Childers worked diligently with us to get the house we needed at the price we needed. If you’re looking for a home in Kyle, look no further than Brooks Ranch. You can expect five star treatment from Darren and quality homes at a reasonable price.

DO NOT BUY THEIR HOMES!!! Looks like a high quality builder until you're living in the house, then the problems start. This was a new construction and before my warranty was up the roof was leaking. Called Blackburn homes and they sent someone out to "fix" it. Supposedly they saw the hole in which light from outside was being let in. Every time it rains we have water entering our home. Several unreturned phone calls and the construction in the attic is atrocious, I am honestly surprised the house passed inspection. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Now we are out of our warranty and this water problem has been a problem since day one. SHADY COMPANY, ALL THEY CANNOT SELL THEIR HOMES THAT ARE CURRENTLY FOR SALE!!!
