Briarwood Apartments

Slum lords. I live at Briarwood and the post office has not delivered mail to any of the units for over a month. Tenants have reached out to the manager numerous times as I have through email and Jennifer does not respond to emails. Every tenant for the past month has had to drive to the post office to pick up their mail because the postal service will not deliver mail because our mailboxes are broken and outdated; I’ve spoken to the postmaster myself and he said they’ve been trying by to get a hold of KRC for 4 months telling them they need to replace our community mailboxes and they have not gotten back to them. We recently received a notice from the post master stating they will no longer be holding our mail at the post office and that they are returning every tenants mail to sender sin

We lived here when San Mar Properties owned it moved in 2016 & moved out 2020 KRC management had barley taken ownership. When San Mar owned it we found mold all over our apartment we let them know about it & all they did was fix everything in our apartment & painted our walls. Right after that I heard they were selling those apartment complex’s. I was always cleaning our apartment but the mold was in our closets & behind our dressers/ bed frames because it was heavy to move with carpet I would just clean around it. We mentioned to San Mar we were going to get an inspector out there & they got scared & they told the lady in the office that whatever we wanted done in that apartment to do it! My family was getting sick because of the mold!! So whoever is now in the apartment #1 I would move

I lived @ Briarwood Apartmentsin Apt. #4 in Spring season, year 1983. When we moved there upstairs, the so-called manager knew that the previous tenant had damaged the living room carpet with black color motor grease. The so-called manager told us about the grease to begin with, before we moved in, however, they did not replace the living room carpet or, thoroughly remove the grease somehow. At that time during our residency, I remember the U.S.P.S. mailboxes being inside the managers office. When we moved out, we got only $5 back of the cleaning/security deposit back, & it was not our doing that the black motor grease was left on the living room carpet. I was age 15-1/2 then, now I am age 55-1/2+, & all the more wiser about Briarwood Apts..

Been here for almost two years and I'm upgrading to bigger apartment here.. It's quiet with occasional new comer who decides they wanna party all night but if you report it to security then Summer the manager she's quick to get it resolved.. 4 stars only because there's no washer dryer inside , no spa, no gym. Only downside really...bettee in these apartments than the ones around us........ .....update moved out like 3 years or so ago now. But my 2nd apartment started having issues. When I moved it the carpet was still wet and there was like a 20lb bag of rice thrown all over the front room ans they just shampoo over it! I had to wear slippers through the house cuz when I would just wear socks my feet would be black. Crazy. The thermostat was stuck in Celsius. Then one day the air condit

Lived here since 2016 when San Mar properties owned the complex. As soon as KRC Management took over nothing gets fixed no matter how many times you bring it up. My a/c has been leaking since the end of July and it now has stopped blowing cold air during the hottest week of the year. They don't care about the animals, whether they're yours or the stray cats that have lived here (constantly having litters of kittens and spraying everything). The "pest control" that comes by, pretty much does nothing. Whatever they put down attracts more roaches than it kills. DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!!!!
