Brandywine Apartments

Good place to stay. Heating and water is included that's a HUGE plus. The handymen typically show up in 24 hours after a service request is acknowledged. The rent is fairly priced and is excellent for students. Cumberland farms (24hrs) is within walking distance and so is Atkin Farms for good groceries. Easily accessible by two bus stops so accessibility is Excellent as well.

one of the best managements i have met in 6 years living in amherst. i lived on the top floor though so i cannot comment on the ground floor mouse issue others have mentioned. if you do have a top floor there's a nice spacious balcony, very large rooms compared to other amherst rentals, and rent is cheap for how close to campus it is and how spacious the apartment is. management responded to requests within 24 hours, were accomodating to requests to leaving stuff for the next tenants. apparently the floors are thin though so if you don't live on the top floor your upstair neighbors might bother you. didn't really ever see anyone getting towed and my friends regularly stayed over. i only wish the gas stove was newer and more safe and that the sinks had food disposal. definitely way bette

Management was ridiculous. Parking system was disaster. If you parked overnight with your visitor parking, your car would get towed no matter what condition. Everything was charged: move in move out fee, annual parking fee, etc. Besides, apartment is degraded and old. Strong smell in the building. I had stayed there for few month and moved out. It’s not worth the price.

Apartments aren’t safe and there’s no security. The locks are a joke my house key from Los Angeles opens my apartment and the ones around me too. Even the townhouses have security. Packages always get stolen. Nothing is handicap accessible. Just to name the tip of the iceberg. Highly recommend living elsewhere.

The apartments are very nice and affordable, especially for the area. You get a lot more space than Town houses and Pufton with paying a little bit more, and the quality is much nicer. However, the people living here are not always in school and do not care that you are in school. I had the cops show up at my door more times than I care to admit because my neighbors did not want to address me directly. This includes watching a movie "too loudly" around 8pm on a Thursday. So keep that in mind.
