In the fiscal year 2021-2022, my mother rented out a property located on Montgomery Street, adjacent to the square. The landlord compelled me to sign a lease at the age of 18, despite my enrollment in school at the time. In Alabama, the legal age for signing a lease is 19, but the landlord informed my mother that he intended for us to document the occupants of the property. I was unaware that this document constituted a lease. My mother and I resided in the property for approximately ten months, nearly a year. Subsequently, the landlord sold the property, necessitating our relocation. A few years ago, I visited the office to request the removal of my name from the lease, as I was perplexed by the interference with my other applications when I submitted my application for Hunters Mountain.

The townhouse is a nice, nice place to live and a location is great for students but the maintenance is terrible. The top floor AC will not cool down. It is 92° in July inside for those two top bedrooms. And cannot get anyone over there to fix it

We had a pleasant experience with Bluekey Properties. They came highly recommended while we were searching for a place. Al was accommodating with our schedule, making it easy for us to view the property. He was always just a phone call away, promptly returning any calls or texts regarding our questions or concerns.

Would not recommend! If I could give 0 stars I would. First off there was an unknown water leak, not from my negligence, that the city had to call and notify me. I call BK and let them know. They came out and was gone in 15 mins. My bill had increased over $150 due to that water leak. Everyone in that office gave me the run around. Then said “oh just send statements of your bill and they’ll make an adjustment” I literally got nothing. Never talked to anyone but the guy in the front office. Then they kept all of my deposit for painting a bathroom that was never even painted before I moved in. I cleaned my entire apartment whole as well as steaming the carpet myself. And you know what they did?? Did it all over again and charge me for it. Bluekey Property and its owners suck SSA! Glad I left

Would not recommend them. You will not get your security deposit back from them. In fact, they say I owe them money for normal house cleaning, painting the living, and replacing the smoke detectors. $793.00 worth of expenses.
