Berkley Hills Apartments

Total dump. I moved here a few years ago sight unseen wanting an affordable apartment in a new city while being close to east thinking this place was decent enough. Neighbors are always loud and leave the property in awful condition. They trash the shared areas and nothing is done about it. I also had issues with roaches due to new neighbors moving in who were filthy after living there over a year and having no issues. Pest control did next to nothing at each visit. The buildings are incredibly old and so is everything inside. The windows didn’t have screens and barely opened if at all, most didn’t seal properly leading to bugs getting in too. AC barely works and upstairs was always sweltering hot even in the winter. The parking situation is a nightmare, there’s no where for guests to park

We recently moved here and I have to say that I believe these apartments deserve a lot more credit than what is shown in some of the older reviews. All the units becoming available now have been remodeled and look beautiful inside! Our kids love it here. Gabby and Gwen (the office managers) have been nothing short of amazing and friendly each time we’ve reached out to them. Anytime we’ve had an issue or questioned something, that concern was immediately addressed. Our neighbors are friendly. No pest issues, no crime. I know some potential renters may read older reviews and become hesitant but our experience so far has only been positive! And the pool is being prepared to open soon! We’re excited about that! If you’re on the fence, there is no reason to be. It’s a beautiful community here,

Do not rent here !!! We have been living here for 3 years ! We resigned our lease for the apartment and then 15 days before they told us that they weren’t going to renew it but gave us the pool passes ??? The pool is never open is their fault they don’t want to renew because they want to “remodel “ the apartment but do not want to remodel it while we’re here. They had already gave us a paper to resign our lease I didn’t know you could take that paper back nor give me and my family 15 days to move !!!! They are cheap and will not fix a thing. If I could give them 0 stars I honestly would I do not recommend

If you care anything about your health, safety, and cleanliness, you will not move here. I had to call the Codes department just to get repairs done in my apartment because the owners/staff refused to do. They keep increasing the rent for broken down, nasty, old apartments. I am paying $795 for a 2 bedroom townhouse and the amenities include cockroaches the size of my foot, broken stair rails, floors falling in, mildew growing from the vents, cracks in the back door glass which they refuse to fix, 70% chance of being broken in to, drug dealers, and out of control kids that go around begging for money and throwing things at your car. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOURSELF!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

STAY AWAY! My husband and I went to view this apartment this past weekend and it was so awful we got out of there as fast as we could. First of all, the office smelt like cat urine mixed with mold!!! It was so disgusting I thought I was going to gag. As we were on our way to view a vacant apartment, shutters were falling off the sides of buildings, mattresses were thrown outside dumpsters, and trash was thrown all over the place. The woman opened the door and the smell from the apartment was worse than the office. There was a bag of trash sitting in the middle of the living room floor and the carpet hadn't even been vacuumed. Thankfully, she told us only 3 bedrooms have washer/dryer hook-ups so we didn't have to be rude about not being interested in the property! I've never seen an establi
