Bass Lake Crossing

Hey, If you like walking through a sea of trash (literally, there is garbage everywhere) then Bass Lake Crossing is for you! If you enjoy the comforts of mice infesting the walls and hot water working 50% of the time then Bass Lake Crossing is the place for you! Do you enjoy your heat going out constantly in the dead of winter? Or lack of security cameras and doors being busted open so anyone and everyone can walk in? Or how about maintenance never showing up to fix anything in your apartment?? Or how about lack of communication between management and residents? Then Bass Lake Crossing is for you! I wish I was joking about all this stuff but im not. I've only been here for a couple of months and it is one of if not THE WORST place ive lived. Please do yourself a favor and look else where.

I enjoy my large apartment, it's the cheapest I could find. And the heat is included. I love that! I hear there are mice here but my 2 cats keep them away. I have seen a cockroache here but I bought traps and I haven't seen any since. You get what you pay for. The halls are kind of dirty. But there is a cleaning lady that works hard I hear her vacuum all the time. I've lived here over a year and I appreciate the cheap rent.

I strongly recommend not living here. During my time as a tenant, I experienced ongoing maintenance issues, poor communication from management, and a lack of accountability when concerns were raised. Requests were delayed or ignored, and important information was often unclear or changed without notice. This was not a one-time issue — it was a repeated pattern that created unnecessary stress and instability. As a tenant, you expect basic professionalism and transparency, and that was consistently missing. If you value peace of mind, reliable management, and clear communication, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

In August '25, I applied for an apartment at Bass Lake Crossing, a complex owned/operated by Bader Mgmt. I was actually a returning resident, having previously lived in the complex in '15-'16, and was told upon my departure to "come back anytime". Since I did like my unit back then and was in the market for an apartment near my new employment, I decided to return (even though the complex and grounds had...deteriorated substantially). So, I searched the website for openings, contacted the main office for a showing, and was underway to establishing being a tenant once again. I completed the online application, paid the $50 app fee, as well as the $300 deposit to hold the apartment, and assumed all was well. Long story short... i lived in these apartments & had to brake my lease due to the mice. It's very traumatizing, especially if you've NEVER dealt with something like that. They just keep sending out " pluckett " who does nothing. I moved out August of this year 2025 & they already have my unit on the listing which means they did NOT patch up any holes or look around to see where the mice could be coming from. Apartment 204A to be exact. I feel so bad for the next people they lie to & move in there. The lady Emma is now in charge & i really liked her, i am sadden that she took the new position as the manager of those buildings when she knows how they are. I would not recommend, unless you like to live dirty. I have so many pictures of TRASH all in the hallways. It's nasty there.
