Apple Creek Apartments

Made the move from SoCal to Tulsa and then to Stillwater. I was looking for a residence that would combine both peace and access, and I was lucky enough to find it at Apple Creek! I felt really comfortable right away at the leasing office because that was the first place I stepped into. They went above and beyond to get us the unit available that we were eyeing. Fast forward months later...the place is perfect! Just around the corner is ALDI, which is nice and close to other food and shopping places. Everything else in Stillwater is only a short drive away making trips and going out super easy. Our neighbors are nice, considerate and usually keep to themselves (As introverts, this is a + lol). They need to a better job of letting residents know when they will and will not be performing maintenance, and letting people know when jobs are completed or closed. They were scheduled to come last Friday and ask for things to be out of the way for them. Tuesday they left an air filter for me to install myself since they couldn't get to it today because they didn't tell me today was the day. I am also not a fan of being forced to pay my rent online where there's a convenience fee. It's only really convenient for the manager who doesn't have deal with my money anymore. My lease agreement states was my rent is. I shouldn't have a pay hidden fee on top of that.

Brianna worked very diligent to make out move in as smooth as possible. Was IS great! However, I was told that the apartment had been cleaned prior to us moving some of our things in. We found trash, the floor was dirty and the balcony could use some new boards (looks shadey). There were several issues we found that needed repaired and SHOULD'VE been taken care of prior to moving in. We did a COMPLETE walk through, like requested by Brianna and I have since, sent her the things that need to be taken care of. "HOPEFULLY" They will be taken care of promptly!

Upon first moving in my roommate and I were not pleased with the condition of our apartment- it smelt of cat pee and dusty like it had not been cleaned prior. We also had to put essentially 2 deposits down, one before the lease and after signing it which was confusing as the second one was not mentioned until we got our lease. There were dead bugs and spiders throughout the apartment, the unit had probably sat empty for some time. It also doesn't have any ceiling lights or fans besides in the kitchen/bathrooms, the windows in phase 1 are just sliding windows with no screen, so it is a little outdated. However, maintenance responded within 24hrs to all of our work orders and has fixed anything we have asked so far. The property manager also personally called to sort out our issues. State of
