I have reached out on numerous occasions to the corporate office and account department, only to get the voicemail and no response inquiring about my security deposit. My last resort is to file a small claims suit with the county clerk. There’s no reason I should not have my security deposit when my apartment was clear for me to receive my full deposit. hello , i moved out of grand court lakes AUGUST 31 2025. i have contacted over 50 times to both grand court lakes management & YMP REAL ESTATE via phone. i spoke with someone in human resources 2x that said they would make sure they reach back out but nothing at all. i have not received my deposit refund for 1550.00$ this is not policy & is illegal! its been more than 45 days since i vacated the property & i have yet to receive my deposit back. i spoke to stephanie who manages grand court lakes & they told me to call your accounting department who NEVER answers the phone no matter what time i call. this is very unprofessional, i dont want to seek legal assistance i just want my deposit at this point it feels discriminating because i am a young black woman who recently had a verbal dispute

This is by far the worst place we have ever leased in Georgia. No proper property maintenance, the manager is harassing tenants for any valuable gifts or free items. The manager has very poor relation with tenants, for her Rudeness and false promises. The owner knew about it, but did nothing at all. They also, never returned our due deposit back. We deeply regret leasing this place, in Duluth, Georgia, as we wasted our valuable time trying to force the property management to keep the place operable and trying to stop the property manager from harassing our staff. The owner company in Florida ignored all complaints. We are so happy that we moved out after 5 whole years of suffering. We lost our due deposit unjustifiably, but we won our peace of mind. If I could give this place 0 star i would. I have been living here for about 4 years and this is the worst it has gotten with the management team. My lease was supposed to renewed in Sept they never sent me the new lease. I went to the office two months in advance spoke to Aida she told me that she will send it by mail ; never did ! I then received a notice for Oct saying my rent is up from $1515 to $1816. I emailed them I told them to give me an explanation of why I never received a renewal and why my rent went up so high they never responded. I live in park at hurstborne and it is HORRIBLE. It is in KY, just look up the reviews. I’ve been without air conditioning and heat for 12 months. I was never rude and I was very patient. It’s 90+ degrees and I’ve put in 3 work orders. The property manager James Dermody became very rude and nasty when I asked for a constructive eviction, discount or a new apartment. They have lost my key that the office has, which is a risk for my safety because they don’t know who has it. The maintenance men have put in a false work order completion, they didn’t even have a key to get in. I’ve had a gun flashed at me, I went to the office to ask if they could see who did it (since “cameras” are right in front of where it happened). That’s when I realized the cameras are fake.
