Woodland Pointe Apartments and Townhomes

DO NOT RENT HERE AT ALL, WHATSOEVER!!!! My girlfriend rents here and her AC has been out for over a month. It’s been over 90 degrees in the apartment some days. They refuse to compensate for rent, provide a temporary AC unit, anything. They don’t message her with updates, we have to ask them over and over again. There were times when her water was out for a week and she got no updates. The rent is cheap because they want you in a contract, then refuse to fix all of your utilities that are broken. It is neglect that they know they can get away with. They are unprofessional and take advantage of young people, students, and low-income families. This apartment complex was one of the worst experiences I have had living in the Kent area. The management here is rude, indignant, and hostile. I contacted the office due to items on my patio having been stolen, to which I received an email with bold and capital letters informing me that I was in violation of my lease and that my belongings were taken as a result of that. I had not been warned or notified of this being an issue prior to the seizure of my items. The property manager cited section 19 in the lease which forbids grills and open fire pits from the balcony of the units. I inquired further as to why I was being targeted when other tenants had grills and firepits on their patios (which were not confiscated) and as to why my enclosed fire pit was being labeled as contraband 1.5

I lived at Woodland Pointe for 3 years. It was a good experience. I enjoyed living there close to downtown Kent and close to 76. Every time I had a maintenance issue, someone came within that day. Hailey is the office manager and she is awesome! Always so helpful, kind and willing to help and work with you. She is also very responsive! Very nice place to live!

Do not stay here. The water is undrinkable and management is awful. Our apartment had huge holes in the wall and garbage everywhere when we first got it. We FREQUENTLY had no water. Maintenance would turn off the water for an entire building for days at a time with no warning. We had to stock jugs of water to flush the toilet and get a gym pass to take a shower for when this would happen. The ceiling in the bathroom would leak water every so often, and despite complaints this was never permanently fixed. The AC never worked - it would turn on but due to it being enclosed in the roof overhang it would overheat and never actually cool the apartment. When people say this is a horrible place to live, they are not kidding. You are walking into this place knowing that there is well water & management does NOTHING about the horrific smell. You cannot drink this water, I do not even let my dog drink it. Seeing as there should be a water filter or softener put in place. Sometimes my hair even smells after I shower. Dishes never get clean either. I had a terrible bug problem in the basement and all they do is respray the outside door. Has complained 3 separate times. Marcia, the landlord, is a whole other story. She is INSANELY rude and is not willing to help in any situation. She will talk over you and not let you get one word in. I honestly do not know how she is still management here. She has made my life a living hell here.
