Lived here for a year from 2024-2025 and it was pretty alright. Marisua, the apartment manager is very nice and willing to work with you. Maintenance requests go through her and she didn't always respond. Apartments are a good size and good price. There's no pet deposit but the pet rent is rather high at $75 a month. The balconies and grounds were very nice. However the parking lot was like a slip and slide in the winter, it seemed like they never did much to clear it for residents. There is a laundry room in each building but it's only 1 washer & 1 dryer for 12 units, so sometimes it took awhile for them to be available. You pay for them via an app which is great but the cost is kind of high at $2 per cycle for both the washer and dryer. Honestly my biggest gripe with the place was that I

I have lived in Lake Street Apartments from 2015 until 2020 in the same 1-bedroom apartment. I was single for the first 4 years and was married during my last year. For a single individual, the 1-bedroom apartments are decent size and have decent amenities. The kitchen was small, but the gas stove was powerful and good for cooking. However, my oven leaked and everytime I tried to bake something my apartment would fill up with the smell of methane. I did not bother management since I did not bake that often. Once I got married, the kitchen became extremely small for 2 people and we realized we had to move out after I completed my degree. My furnace went out in 2018 and they replaced it and put in a brand new one pretty promptly. Typically if things went bad management was quick to respond.

My experience in general with this apartment complex has been really positive (especially when comparing to the place that I came from). I had to dock a star because the manager was never there, but she was always very accessible through other means like call or text so I never really noticed too much of an issue. I had a problem with my AC and maintenance was in the next day to fix it. The apartment is a little dark, but it's nothing a lamp or two can't fix. They were always very good about letting you know if they needed to enter for one reason or another, and despite being a little outdated, the place is clearly well maintained.

DO NOT RENT HERE. I moved in August 2022 and it currently is October 31, 2022. In late september fleas infested my apartment (even though I have no pets and no furniture in the unit, I had only been staying there 3 days a week since I moved in). The problem still is not resolved to this day. Needless to say, I have not been living in the unit since the problem started. Now a month later, management is refusing to comp my rent for October even though they neglected to remedy the situation. Horrible place! Stay away! UPDATE: In early November, I ended up having to turn my key in and just leaving because management had an inability to remedy the situation and refused to let me out of my lease. Pretty terrible that they didn't have the courtesy to let someone out of their lease when they prov

Management company really sucks. They are unprofessional on the phone, and charge extra for damages and fees after moving out that are totally unnecessary. The landlord is rarely in the office when you need to ask a question, and when you do contact, she usually makes it seem like it is an inconvenience. The apartment quality is poor, and the kitchens are so tiny in the one bedroom apartments. Damages/dirty appliances were in the apartment when we moved there, and we got charged for it when we moved out.
