My husband and I LOVED living at Windsor Ridge. We stayed there 10 months. We had a 1 BD with loft, west facing unit. Pros: - Maintenance team is really nice and helpful! - The community managers are very friendly too - I got almost all my deposit back (I really cleaned up well my unit tbh) - The gym is open 24/7 - Our apartment met all the criterias we had (hardwood flooring, AC, in-unit laundry, high vaulted ceilings) - The amenities are nice - The common spaces are usually empty - The neighborhood is pretty calm - There is a 7/11 right across the stress - It's pet friendly <3 Cons: - It took us a while to get our deposit back (apparently it went to the wrong address) - Our downstair neighbor was super annoying. To all current, potential, and future residents of Windsor Ridge, a FEDERAL CRIME was committed here in August of 2025. USPS informed me that the employee who delivers mail to Windsor Ridge reported mail theft to their supervisor as well as the apartment complex on 8/16/25. The photo USPS the employee submitted showed ALL mailboxes completely empty. USPS stated that since all mailboxes were completely cleared out but not physically damaged, this individual/these individuals have copies of ALL of our mail keys. Therefore, there’s a high possibility this will happen again. The only real solution being that the property pays to replace the residents mailbox keys and/or installs security cameras where the mailbox are located. I am a tenant living in Windsor ridge for the past 1 year. Recently, we had a very bad experience with Windsor. Our ceiling got ripped off due to some moisture issue and we were asked to relocate to a temporary unit for one week for renovation. After one week, we connected the community team and they said one more week required for maintenance. We waited and 3rd week over , still no communication about when we can move back to our unit. They don't respond to the emails on time or don't have an office here to go. Very poor customer service. The quality of the apartment is not so great for the rent we pay here.

While both places have their upsides, there are several areas that need improvement. Pros: Spacious Layouts: Both Windsor Ridge and Bristol Commons offer generous apartment sizes. The layouts are well thought out, providing ample space for furniture and personal belongings, making it easy to settle in. Convenient Location: These communities are very close to major tech hubs, which is a huge advantage if you work at one of the big tech companies in the area. Through their own administrative error, Essex owed me almost $2000 and repeatedly stated I could only expect to receive the refund by cheque in the mail within 21 days after move out as part of my deposit refund. After 21 days had passed without a check, they have been completely unhelpful in providing an ETA for when I could receive my money back, providing information contradictory to what was initially communicated and refusing to follow-up. No contact information with the financial team or tracking number for a $2000 check sent by mail! Unbelievable that they are unable to demonstrate any sort of financial responsibility or accommodation in response to problems they caused.
