Willogrove Apartments

My mother has lived there for over 20 years. The rent has definitely shot up over the last few years but what place hasn't 🤷. For the most part it's a peaceful quiet area. A number of charges in the past few years with the newly renovated apartments.

The apartments are updated nicely inside. The price is fabulous as well- especially in these times. The appliances are nice and name brand. The common area is nicer than some of the nicest hotel lobbies I have been in. Clean and decorated incredible. The swimming pool was closed for the season, but the pool furniture was nice and clean and there were 2 high end grills for any residents to use. The manager of the complex was Bill and he was the nicest person. Knowledgeable and friendly. Even helped us move a box! The perfect person to manage this place.

LONG HONEST REVIEW. Hi y’all! I was a resident at Willogrove for 3 years and recently I took a transfer at work and moved to Arizona. After a month of being away from it I felt like it was time to leave an honest review. I will do a pros and cons style starting positive with the pros… PROS - Location is GREAT! Quiet side street very close to downtown Willoughby and Willoughby Commons. I really enjoyed my frequent walk to DTW to get coffee and enjoyed the park on nice days. You can’t beat the location! -Friendly staff! Every face to face interaction I’ve had with the leasing office, property manager and maintenance has been positive! Lived here for almost three years and it was fine! Maintenance was definitely great while I was there. Always super helpful. Didn’t have much need for the front office, but Wendy was quick to respond to questions when I had them. The apartment itself was very nice, and the location of the complex is great.

My husband and I have loved living here for the past 10 years. The only drawback is that since we have been here so long we do not have one of the newly renovated apartments. I find people's comment that maintenance are slow and don't repair things unwarranted. They have always been very quick and efficient when fixing anything we have called about, also very friendly and courteous. Also I have to say, management/ownership have been very good at taking care of tenants during this pandemic. They clean frequently and maintenance staff have been wearing masks. Also they post signs to encourage tenants to be mindful of each other during this difficult time.
