Wilbur Oaks Apartments

I am renting at Wilbur Oaks and going into my 5th year here. When we rented in 2020 location was beautiful and well kept. We had no wash or dryer in our unit but it wasn’t an issue at the moment because they had 3 laundry rooms in the complex. 3 years later they remove one and keep 2 laundry rooms. Now this huge apartment complex about 4 buildings are to use and share only 2 laundry rooms and the majority of these washer and dryers are not in good conditions. They take the money you deposit into them but are not working. I was told by Terry, one of the ladies in the leasing office “ you wash at your own risk”. She also told me that I should go wash outside instead. Pretty crazy to say being you pay $2500 of rent and the least you can expect is for the laundry rooms as well as other ameniti

When we first moved into Wilbur oaks it used to be a fantastic place! We signed our lease with a wonderful women named Lynda who unfortunately moved to work somewhere else (don’t blame her) and the leasing office was taken over by Terry who is a mad women drunk on whatever “power” she had over the tenants. This place is terribly not dog friendly unless you have a tiny yapping dog that can sit on a patio and bark at whatever noise happens but god forbid you have an ESA/ service dog…. The walls are thinner than paper and you can hear EVERY noise that happens either from other tenants or anyone who drives or walks by. Many people sit in their cars at 2 or 3am with music blasting or would park for months on end in “permit parking”… your parking pass makes no difference since no one cares to ac

Was a really great appartment complex. Lived in a renovated townhome and did not have any issues at all. Maintenance was kind and answered requests in a reasonable time. The complex was also really good at communicating about construction that would be happening. In addition to this the appartment generally had lawn care done once a week to so the complex would often look nice and clean. Terry was also wonderful and assisted us in a timely manner anytime we ever had any concerns. She made our move in smooth for us and was for communicative for any of our concerns we had initially. Would recommend this apartment complex if it’s within your budget and you are moving into this area.

I would advice anyone to AVOID renting from Wilbur oaks at all costs. I have been living in a single “upgraded” apartment for $2500 monthly for about 2 months. I have been dealing with a noisy water pipe since the very first day I moved in. What’s more management refuses to provide a satisfactory solution and refuses to allow me to move out of this apartment. It all started the night I moved in when I was awakened several times during my sleep. There were banging noise in the walls that were jarring and loud enough to wake me up and keep me awake. I later learned that it is called water hammer, and it’s a common problem in water pipes that require sometimes expensive repairs to fix.
