Westpointe Apartments & Townhomes

We lived there for a little bit over a year due to complications with getting our 30-day notice up, Susie was very rude the entire time we were there constantly adding fees on us to the point where we had to do the split pay and then they charge us over the amount that we were even supposed to pay. We dealt with cockroaches the entire time we were there, they constantly told us that they were getting to it even though the pest control only came there twice the entire time we lived there. I would never suggest this apartment complex to anyone!!! They are very rude and very nasty. If I could give them a zero star rating I would, they made me and my fiance feel like we weren't even a part of the apartment community and constantly charged us random fees and taxes!! My daughter Maya moved into Westpointe in December, 2025. Krysten and Destiny were extremely helpful and pleasant in assisting us with the application process. Destiny did a great job of showing us various apartments, promptly returning phone calls and patiently answering our questions. Both Kristyn and Destiny are easy to work with and have a positive disposition. Maya has mentioned how considerate, prompt and competent the maintenance workers are. Thank you and keep up the great work!!!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND to live here, barely 5 months in, I got neighbors who smoke 24/7 and my whole apartment smells! Even the entire building when you walk in it smells like pure cigarettes. I have a 2 year old and nothings gets done to solve the problem. Another thing to add, you can’t have anything delivered or else it will get stolen! Nothing gets delivered to your door, the have a mail room with lockers, which makes no sense because your packages will be thrown in the floor and anyone can take them. 0/10!!

I’ve lived at West Point Apartments & Townhomes for a little while now, and after seeing some of the older reviews, I can see why people had questions about how things were running. For me, though, meeting the new community manager has been a really encouraging change. She’s already helped get a few maintenance issues taken care of that I’d been waiting on, and she’s been friendly, responsive, and great to work with. It genuinely feels like she’s bringing a fresh, welcoming energy to the community. Just wanted to share a positive update — I’m feeling really hopeful about where things are headed and excited to see West Point continue to grow into an even more comfortable place to call home.

I just want to thank Paulina, with the recent events that happened she has really stepped up going above and beyond in making sure that we were all taken care of while everything gets fixed. I love living here my neighbors are great and the whole staff from office to maintenance are truly professional and amazing in making sure that we're all living comfortably. Westpointe in Urbandale is the place to be.
