We rented a property through rpm for 1 year. Our experience was nothing short of terrible. The communication with them regarding anything was a struggle. It was like pulling teeth to get a call back. The landlord showed up multiple times without any prior notification. Our dishwasher went out when we followed the procedure by submitting a work order to get it repaired we never got any response and after a few days I called rpm to look for some type of response they said “ a new one will be installed in 3 weeks” and that was that. When it came to our move out procedure we received phone calls from different rpm individuals asking for the same information which tells me there was no internal communication. 3 weeks after we moved out and our lease had ended I received a phone call from rpm

I have had an excellent customer service experience with RPM! Very refreshing! They have a lot of clients, however, I have been always able to reach a team member by phone, text or e-mail. Every team member has had fantastic personalities along with following through with all of my needs with getting things that I need accomplished, done and complete. This includes Jacob- manager, Gillian, Brooke and Harrison- senior manager. I highly recommend this property management company!

I’ve had an awesome experience renting through RPM in Des Moines. From the start, the team has been super easy to work with—quick to respond, clear with communication, and always professional. Any time I’ve had a maintenance request, they’ve handled it fast and taken it seriously, which I really appreciate. The whole process, from move-in to day-to-day things, has been smooth and stress-free. It’s obvious they actually care about their tenants and keep their properties well-maintained. If you’re looking for a place to rent in the Des Moines area, RPM is honestly one of the best property management companies I’ve dealt with. We rented a home managed by RPM and wouldn’t recommend the experience. Move-in was rocky — the access code they provided didn’t work, and we had to wait outside with our dogs for about an hour until someone came in person to let us in. Maintenance was slow and communication was difficult. Replacing defective blinds took six months, with missed repair appointments and repeated follow-ups required on our end. We completed the required RentCheck move-in process with photos and documented pre-existing issues (took about an hour), yet were still charged on move-out for items clearly noted in the app over a year earlier. When we requested those charges be corrected, we were told they “missed” adding a cleaning fee, which would simply replace the incorrect charges, despite the home being thoro
