We were excited based on the reviews, but the specific sweet smell of black mold and reeking oder of cats in the office, made us very concerned about the living situations. Also if you call and get prices from them, beware they will be different prices in person. The lady that worked in the office that day was off putting and rude from the first words out of her mouth. This should've been the place for my family, but based on the office experience and appearance we didn't think twice about leaving.

Quiet. Very nice management. Quick maintenance turn around. No complaints. Yes the units are older, but older doesn’t mean bad. They are affordable and clean. Little imperfections… older appliances and window panes matter very little when you’re able to save so much $ on rent compared to other sky high prices in OS. No bugs like other reviews are saying. That must have been under the previous management. I’ve had 0 bugs.

I just want to thank Lily, the office manager, for informing me that she’s transferring me to another unit soon. I left a poor review prior to this one because of certain issues I’ve been having with my current unit; however, I had a good conversation with Lily since then and I just want to clarify that, in all fairness to her, she was not aware of the extent of the issues that my unit has, nor was she the one who rented the unit to me in the condition it’s been in. She took over Westgate immediately after the former manager had me sign my lease. I am grateful for all hard work. I’m sure it can’t be an easy task, especially in the beginning, to come in and take over an entire apartment complex. Living conditions are horrible when you ask for it to be fixed maintenance just yells in your face... It feels like he's either incompetent at doing his job or he just doesn't care enough to do it. It's honestly terrifying to think he has keys and access to peoples apartments 0 out of 10 recommend staying here anything is a better option

My husband and I have lived at Westgate Apartments in Ocean Springs since July 2009. This is home for us. It's convenient to work and central to all of the amenities that Ocean Springs has to offer. The office manager is by far very competent and attentive to our needs as well as the other residents in here. We are pleased with our unit and the staff here at Westgate. Would recommend to others who may be looking for a home to call their own. Thank you #58...
