West Pointe Apartments

I just signed my lease for a 1 bedroom apt here. I have to say what an amazing experience it was dealing with the property manager Jasmine Ramos. She was a pure delight from start to finish. Great personality, very knowledgeable and just a great experience. I can’t say enough good things about her and my experience here. I relocated from NJ to Burlington NC after selling my house of 27 years and was clueless how to even rent an apt or who to call and set up services with or what I needed to do and Jasmine answered all my calls and questions and helped me so much. An awesome person and greatly appreciated all her help!

I used to think this place was great until they utterly screwed my mom into paying move out fees “because it’s what we asked for”. Instead of educating tenants about the move out process, they will screw you and make sure you pay more. Grimy. Don’t get confused people - the early move out process is if you’re breaking your lease months and months early. Not 3 weeks early. As a former leasing agent, I never would’ve walked my tenants into this and willingly screwed them. I’m disgusted!

Van Metre made this place horrible. I found mold in my apartment and their idea of “fixing it” is painting over it and busting unnecessary holes in the walls. My daughter’s room had drywall cracked from the top of the ceiling to the bottom of the floor. My air filter hadn’t been changed in a year, and even then I had to ask! We had ants. No extermination is ever done anymore. Neighbors have said people are breaking in cars and that police are always here. I had kids take and open my Amazon packed and nobody cared at all!! You’re likely to bust a tire over there with the amount of broken glass that’s always there and never cleaned up. This company took over, raised the rent, added trash/water/sewer (something we never had to pay), meanwhile everything else went down! I’d give it 0 stars now

Technician came on time and replaced the garbage disposal motor. Now it is working efficiently.

When I first contacted West Pointe, Jasmine was a huge help. Due to my work schedule, it was hard to schedule a tour during regular business hours. Jasmine worked with me and was very accommodating. When it came time to move in she was very organized and had everything ready to go even though she was on vacation. Nicole made the moving day very easy and explain everything well. In addition, when I did my pre-move-in walk-through, the whole office was understanding and willing to fix any concerns and issues I had. The maintenance supervisor urgently worked on my issues in a timely manner. So far so good with this community. I love the location, the environment, the neighbors, the staff, and my new home.
