West End at City Center Apartment Homes

I lived here for over two years. The current management is sketchy. They will come up with random charges, have huge electric and water bills that just don't seem sane. It was fine until the current management took over. I moved out over 6 months ago, but i have heard HORROR stories of people trying to leave owing insane amounts in charges for carpet repairs and paint damages upon move out. There are much nicer apartments around this area I would look into that are also more modern and cheaper. I would advice to be heavily cautious before moving in.

After a VERY long wait due to many unfortunate circumstances (blizzard being one of them) we FINALLY got moved in! It wasn’t without hitches, but the folks at West End made everything right as it went wrong. It is a beautiful property, our apartment is just perfect. We love the location and the size, we’ve had only 2 issues. One was resolved right away and one we are still waiting to get corrected. Overall the experience was top tier and we look forward to enjoying the amenities this complex has to offer. Once again, Kristie-Lynn was most helpful and friendly and checked on us many times throughout the process!

Definitely better places for the price, can’t wait to leave. No grills or smokers allowed, and when the property’s low budget washer inevitably breaks and floods your belongings, there will be no reimbursement of any sort. Also, please don’t be in any sort of emergency and try to contact management because their response will reflect that they are in no rush to make tenants feel like a priority.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Mold on the windows and hefty Evergy bills from poor insulation & cheap window installation isn't even the worst part of the experience. I moved out 2 years ago, was told everything was paid and I was good to go even after following up to double check, and just received a notice from collections due to bullshit cleaning expenses that cost upwards of $1,000. I hadn't received a single letter, email, call, or any sort of formal notice that there was an outstanding balance on my account. There are not enough bad things to say about West End at City Center and as for BH Management... there is a reason you can't find their office number anywhere online.

DO NOT MOVE HERE - I want to give credit to the maintenance staff and Charles. They were always quick to respond with request and Charles seems like the only one who has any idea about what’s going on in the front. In a one bed one bath apt that ran out of hot water in 5 minutes, my water and sewage bill was around ~150 a month. Conservice acknowledged this was way high and they believe it’s faulty construction in the building I was in. I also just got hosed on a move out fee of a full months rent because I didn’t give them a 60 day notice I was moving out. Which is crazy because I scheduled my move out date 12 months ago when I initially signed my lease and scheduled my move out date. This place will do anything they can to take money from you.
