West Commons

From the first week we moved in it’s not been a good experience. We moved in October 2024, within a week and the fall rainy weather our ceiling began leaking from the smoke alarm. It took 7-8 times of roofing contractors coming out; between 2 possibly 3 different companies including the original building contractors, to finally discover the source in March of 2025. Meanwhile there’s obvious water damage to the drywall on the ceiling. In April a team was at the complex to do painting and drywall repairs, our unit supposedly being one on the list. I was given less than 24 hours notice, and zero communication as to a time frame so I could be present to keep my dog not only out of the way, as he insists he’s the best helper, but also calm because he was recovering from a severe vaccine reactio

The common area lounge and staircase are unclean most of the time. Also, some residents do not clean up after their pets and keep them unleashed. The apartments have new appliances and vinyl flooring, and they are unfurnished. There is no elevator facility.
