Virginia Homes

My Buyers and I are working with Virginia Homes. Brian Buttler at Hyland Glen, right off Post Road and Hyland Croy Rd in Dublin, has great skills while advising my buyers on the blue prints and modifying the floor plan to their liking. He listens and responds in timely matter. My clients are happy. They just finished their selections for the exterior of the home. Looking forward to seeing the finished house. I bought a Virginia constructed home @ Tartan West three years before. Seems they use good quality materials in the visible areas. Don’t know the standard and quality of the materials in the attic areas. We were keep getting bird inside the dryer and now spoiled the dryer machine. I have to buy a new dryer (this is totally avoidable). I also sent few request to Virginia home service department and left voice message to help me on this. Surprisingly no response from them. I also came to know all the bathroom exhaust are vented out inside the attic. Lots of mildew in the attic. Looks like expensive repairs!

Our home is now over 35 yrs old and we have been for the most part happy with everything. We did however recently find that the bathroom fan was never vented out. It was ran up and nailed to a rafter to give the appearance of venting and apparently Virginia and inspectors missed that. We ended up getting spots on ceiling from excess condensation. Always something I guess.
