Customer Reviews
This place has potential to be 4/5 star apartment IF they have the right management in place. After living here for 3 years we enjoyed our unit and the location a lot, however, the management was absolutely awful. 1. Extremely unapologetic when anything breaks in the apartment/unit. They just expect you to suck it up and move on and don’t care about making things right as soon as possible. 2. We loved our unit but we had a bitter taste in our mouth when we got our renewal letter and found that rent was going to be raised $300. We later saw our apartment listed on the website for nearly the same price we were currently renting at, which felt extremely shady and unprofessional. 3. They shut the water almost every month because of some problem and nearly every time fail to turn it back on by
I would not recommend living here. There is a constant theme of water issues and management theme screwing you over, along with upper management seemingly unable to resolve any of their tenants’ problems. Water issues have been present for a long while that have been unresolved through multiple service calls, and management is very very poorly done. They have very poor communication and transparency even though they “try their best” at it. Just read the other reviews, thats all you need to make a decision. Even with a change of management, it just gets worse and worse. The problem seems to be somewhere at the top.
We just moved in and already love it here! Really nice unit and complex. Staff have all been super helpful and welcoming too. Using the loading dock was easy. All around a good process!!! Definitely recommend.
BUYER BEWARE! AVOID AVOID AVOID We lived at the Verge for 3 years and recently left before our lease was up because it became unbearable. Despite attempts to discuss issues with management it’s no use. There is a new leasing agent every month and you can’t get anywhere with anyone. Our water was turned off nearly monthly for anywhere from 10-15 hours a time. Management would get 1 case of bottled water for the entire complex. We went nearly a whole summer without A/C because management said that it was a building issue, but when it was fixed building wide, our unit still didn’t have air and it took numerous attempts for anyone in management to believe that our unit was 83 degrees consistently. Matienxe staff rotate out just as much as management, the helpful ones at least. The ones that
I was recently looking to lease from verge apartments, toured, and agreed to submit an application with my roommate last week. 30 minutes before I went to submit an application the price updated and increased by $45/month (even though we were told it only happens at midnight), so I spoke to the property manager and was told they would honor the lower rate. I then attempted to apply immediately, but the system they use (RentCafe) would not send the invitation email to my roommate so we could not complete the application. This was on 7/9, I spoke to the leasing agent on both 7/10 & 7/11 before we finally got the system to work and got our application applied on 7/11. On Monday 7/14 they sent us the email below - essentially trying to gouge us for the $45/month in extra rent due to their
