We lived here with our family for three years, and we are truly very happy with our experience. The building itself is stylish, modern, beautiful, and very well maintained. What makes this place especially outstanding, though, is the staff. The management team is simply the best — always responsive, professional, and genuinely caring. They reply to any request almost immediately and consistently do their best to make living here as comfortable as possible. If something ever breaks or any question comes up, the team reacts very quickly, and you always feel real care and support. The complex is extremely clean, with regular cleaning and maintenance of all common areas and the surrounding grounds, which we really appreciate. Uptown 500 is my favorite apartment complex in the northwestern suburbs. We tried living in other places, but nothing beats Uptown, the amenities, the community rooms on every floor, the spacious fitness area with a private yoga room, the rooftop, the pool with a barbecue zone, and most of all, the amazing and helpful leasing team. For our wedding, we even chose to get ready here instead of booking a hotel, both the bride and groom! We’ve celebrated birthdays and many other special family moments here. Uptown is all about comfort and connection, it’s a place for family and friends to gather. The coworking space is great, and there’s a free conference room you can reserve for private meetings. I’m so impressed with uptown 500 Maintinence and management. They are so quick to resolve any issues. Even though I rarely have any issues to report being that everything is so well kept. The community apartment locations are always looking their best as well!

I have been living in this complex for two years, and recently I became very disappointed with both the complex and the management in the leasing office. One morning I discovered that my car was missing. It had been towed by the towing company working with the complex, even though my car was not parked in a guest space or any reserved parking spot that requires a permit. In addition to that, the complex shows very little respect for its residents. A large part of the parking area has been given to the restaurant located on the first floor. On weekends they operate valet parking, which creates a large number of cars and congestion near the building. On top of that, the towing company working with this complex damaged my car, and I had to call the police because they initially refused to

Similar to other reviews, Uptown 500 has the potential to be an amazing apartment complex. Pros: The units are stunning Great amenities Good location Staff is nice Maintenance is quick to remedy tickets and are always upbeat when you see them Frequent community events Most neighbors are nice Cons: Residents are not accountable Trash is left where it shouldn’t be (in hallways, in elevator rooms, in amenities) Amenities are not kept up People use the game room then leave their empty beer bottles, there are broken tables and busted lights in this space The bath in the pet spa is hardly ever clean, owners leave dirt and pet hair in the drain which causes a swampy smell.
