Customer Reviews
This is a gigantic complex where some of the units are owned by university village, and other units are owned by private owners. So it’s a mix of like condos and townhouses all managed by UV. There may be some units in some bldg that are privately owned that are not managed by UV. The management is not great. Pricing is not transparent. You have no idea who you’re really talking to or who’s setting the price. Is it UV, is it the owners? It’s ridiculous. We asked them to remove something from the lease that we didn’t want and they sent us a lease renewal by “mistake” Hooking us in for like another year, But starting eight months in the future. My daughter lives there and there is absolutely 0% chance you will ever be able to get anybody on the phone to answer a question. I mean like zero.
Heather is the worst excuse for a landlord I've ever seen. Truly useless and doesn't even try to pretend that she cares about her tenants. The office hours are a joke and don't even bother trying to call when they're open anyways because nobody will bother picking up. There are a few half-decent things about the place but it is forever overshadowed by how terrible the leasing office is. It is NOT. WORTH. IT.
I’m very disappointed in the way this property is run. Every time you turn around something is broken. It takes weeks on end to be replaced or repaired, that is, if you’re lucky enough to get a hold of management! My daughter goes to school but also works a part time job in order to pay rent, and this place is ridiculous and not worth a dime. Currently her washer is broke and she’s “waiting on a part.” Today they went to the gym and the water fountain doesn’t work. The AC is horrible. Last month it was a broken dishwasher. The carpets are gross. And then rent goes up this year…for what?!?! You’re definitely not making any improvements!!! Be professional and do better!!!
My daughter hasn’t even moved in yet but after spending money for the application and getting approved for taking over someone’s lease, they have never sent the email with info on how to get into the portal or how to pay. It’s the 1st of the month and no one will answer the phone. It’s ridiculous that’s it’s so difficult getting anyone to do what they promise. It’s not looking good. Whoever runs the office should be ashamed they have employees who get paid to do absolutely nothing. Update: My daughter absolutely loves it there and her roommates are great. The day before school started, I needed to overnight her laptop and didn’t have the exact address that it needed to be sent to. (Office or apartment number) I called and left a message, and sent an email because surly they would check on
Been a tenant for little over a year with 2 separate apartments. Consistently blown off my staff, inconsistent rates, and overall poor experience when dealing with any of the staff. The maintenance people are awesome and only people that seem to have a soul here. My rents jacked over by 130 dollars in a year and a half, for identical units that are infested with cockroaches and don’t even have microwaves provided. No one likes living here, we just do it due to how cheap it is. Staff forces you into “new, cheap rates” that you have to sign in 24 hours, while incrementally increasing your rent every 6 months. Zero negotiations for pricing due to “being owned by a corporation” but happy take money for commission based off of how many college kids they move in. Some people are paying 43
